‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: Which ‘Spencer Heir’ Is Worth More: Scott Clifton or Darin Brooks?
“Dollar” Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) runs a kingdom in his own right on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, his two greatest achievements are (arguably) his sons, Liam and Wyatt Spencer, played by Scott Clifton and Darin Brooks. Which of the two “brothers” is worth more in the real world?

The Bold and the Beautiful has been a part of daytime TV since 1987. Scott Clifton didn’t join until 2010 as Bill Spencer’s son, Liam. Clifton, who played Dillon Quartermaine on General Hospital for four years, auditioned for the B&B role two months after departing One Life to Live.
When he auditioned, Clifton didn’t know it’d be as [Diamont’s] on-screen son. The character was newly created to introduce the storyline about paternity. It’s something Clifton had to keep under wraps, according to a previous interview via Michael Fairman TV.
“Around the Emmys, I was not allowed to talk about what I did know. And there were three or so weeks at the set where I was not supposed to tell people there what I knew, and that was at [writer] Brad Bell’s request,” he said.
“This is actually the first job and role that I booked where I did not know who the character was that I was going to be playing. It was on my first day that they said, ‘Oh, by the way, your character is going to be called Liam.'”
Clifton, who made Emmy history by winning in three acting categories, went to Bell’s office and asked to know the full story. It included Liam’s mom dying of cancer and “Liam” being short for “William” because he’s Bill Spencer’s son. Brother Wyatt’s (Brooks) story came along in a different way.

Brooks also had a soap opera background. He played the Emmy-winning role of Max Brady on Days of Our Lives for six years. By the time Brooks came onto The Bold and the Beautiful set, Clifton had fully come into his own as Bill Spencer’s “sole” heir.
Brooks shook things up as Wyatt Fuller/Spencer, who was described by a show rep via TV Guide to be, “clever and mysterious and a love interest for Hope Logan [Kim Matula].” Raised by his single mother, Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), he instantly became Liam’s rival for Bill’s affection and the love of [Hope].
The role came about rather suddenly, Brooks previously explained. He met higher-ups on a Wednesday and a chemistry read on Friday with Matula first, then Clifton. However, his first scene was nude.
“The scene takes place up at Big Bear Lake near the Forrester cabin. My character, Wyatt, is first seen in the nude taking a solar shower out in the woods,” Brooks previously told TV Guide.
“Hope stumbles across him and takes his picture on her smartphone and Wyatt catches her. She doesn’t know what to do so she freaks out and starts running. He chases after her to get his hands on the photo.”
Wyatt’s come a long way since that awkward introduction. Now, he and Liam get along, Hope is no longer at the center of their feud, and all seems well at Spencer Publications.

Both actors have earned their money mostly from The Bold and the Beautiful as well as other acting projects. Clifton is also a musician and video blogger while Brooks is also a writer and producer.
