‘The Challenge 37’: Kaycee’s Ex Claims Relationship With Nany Started Before They Broke Up
The Challenge three-time competitor and Big Brother 20 winner Kaycee Clark began dating Tayler Jiminez in Dec. 2018, but they split around Mar. 2021, seemingly due to her romantic connection with co-star Nany González. The new couple claimed they waited to pursue something until they were both single. However, her ex insists that the two took their relationship to the next level before she and Clark split.
Kaycee Clark and Nany González began romantically seeing each other
Around Mar. 2021, Kaycee Clark and longtime girlfriend Tayler Jiminez unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted pictures they had with one another, implying they broke up.
However, the two didn’t officially comment on the split until a couple of months later, in July 2021, when Jiminez referred to the reality star as her ex.
After claiming Clark wrote her love letters and emails while “shading” her to the other cast members, Nany González posted a video of the two hanging out.
Seemingly in response, Jiminez uploaded a screenshot of messages with Kaycee where her ex insisted she had no plans to date González. The two then went public about their relationship shortly before The Challenge 37 premiered.
Her ex claims the relationship began before they ended things
During the aftermath following the premiere episode, González spoke about her connection with Clark. She explained the two previously met on Total Madness, where they had a flirtmance that upset Jiminez but continued to stay in touch after the season.
According to González, the two also felt something more than friendship between them but were in relationships at the time. Therefore, they decided to attempt a romance when they both became single.
Jiminez commented on an Instagram post featuring the veteran speaking about their relationship, claiming the two didn’t do anything “respectfully.” Additionally, she accused them of starting something romantic before she and Clark went separate ways.
The model ended with, “One person only became available because they disrespected their relationship for the other person.” She then encouraged the budding couple to “tell the truth,” or she plans on revealing more information.
She also said ‘inappropriate texts’ resulted in their breakup
The trailer for The Challenge 37 was released in July 2021 and highlighted the romantic connection between Clark and González, seemingly upsetting Jiminez more.
After it dropped, she spoke out again on Twitter, claiming her ex promised she had nothing to worry about when it came to González. However, she insisted the two split due to “disgustingly inappropriate text messages” shared between Clark and the veteran, reportedly dating back to Dec. 2020.
Responding to one fan, she admitted she should’ve left Clark for good when she and González first began flirting during Total Madness. She also explained she initially stayed because her ex and other players in the house assured her nothing out of place happened.
Although Clark has posted pictures and videos of herself hanging out with González after returning from filming season 37, she still hasn’t addressed her breakup. The Challenge: Spies, Lies, and Allies airs Wednesdays on MTV.
