‘The Challenge 37’: Who Really Ate Amber Borzotra’s Pizza?
Someone reportedly ate Amber Borzotra’s pizza during The Challenge 37, annoying the returning winner who began asking about it. When Tori Deal joked that her rival Fessy Shafaat ate it, it turned into a bigger situation that turned physical, resulting in the disqualification of a two-time finalist. Following the episode, it was revealed that three rookies had a part in secretly eating the pizza.
An argument about who ate Amber Borzortra’s pizza turned physical
During the Sept. 15 episode, someone ate Amber Borzotra’s pizza after the group returned home from a night of partying.
Noticing Amber’s annoyance at the situation, Tori Deal wanted to stir the pot more and told her that her rival Fessy Shafaat had something to do with it.
Amber confronted him about it, and the topic quickly turned to him, blindsiding her into elimination a couple of weeks prior. Tired of hearing her complain about it, Fessy’s partner, rookie Esther Agunbiade got involved, and ended up throwing water on her.
Additionally, Tori Deal brought Amber’s partner, Josh Martinez, into the situation, which amped it up more as he and Fessy had unresolved issues. It turned physical as Fessy put his hands on his former ally, resulting in the two-time finalist leaving the competition.
Priscilla Anyabu revealed who ate Amber’s pizza
A couple of weeks later, rookie Priscilla Anyabu appeared on the Sept. 30 episode of MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast, hosted by veterans Aneesa Ferreira and Tori.
When asked who ate Amber’s food that ultimately spawned the massive argument, Priscilla explained she and Amber put their pizzas into the oven at the same time.
However, she claims someone took hers and removed Amber’s. Priscilla then said she went to find the returning champ but couldn’t and came back to find rookies Berna Canbeldek and Esther helping themselves to a slice.
According to Priscilla, she also chimed in as she wanted to eat as well. Tori asked if she secretly ate it as a political move, but the rookie insisted she was only “hungry AF” and craving pizza.
Amber and Priscilla went home back-to-back
The veterans remained in control throughout the season by creating rookie-rookie teams to throw into the Lair every week. However, Priscilla threw a wrench in their plans by breaking up a veteran-veteran pair after she won an elimination.
Therefore, it ended the returning players’ pact, and they turned on Cory Wharton first, choosing him as the house vote. The agency, consisting of Logan Sampedro and Nany González, threw in Amber and her love interest Jeremiah White to face them.
The returning champ lost her first elimination, and they both went home. A week later, the game switched from pairs to teams of six. Mainly due to the shot Priscilla took at the veteran alliance, she found herself in her second elimination.
Given the opportunity to choose her competitor, Priscilla called out two-time champ Ashley Mitchell. However, her swing missed, and she was eliminated next. The Challenge 37: Spies, Lies, and Allies airs Wednesdays at 8/7 Central on MTV.
