‘The Challenge 38’ Spoilers: Reported Theme and Cast Revealed

New competition series The Challenge: CBS recently wrapped up filming, and spinoff The Challenge: All Stars 3 is currently airing on Paramount+. Another season from the original franchise, The Challenge 38, is reportedly in its early stages as the cast was recently finalized. According to popular spoiler account PinkRose, The Challenge 38 cast departed to begin filming the season, which takes place in Argentina, on May 22. The reported theme is “ride or dies,” and similar to Battle of the Bloodlines, it will feature a few players who viewers won’t recognize as they’re dating or related to a cast member.

However, it’s assumed that Laurel and Jakk, Kaycee and Kenneth, Amber and Chauncey, Tori and Devin, Aneesa and James, Kailah and Sam, Emy and Emanuel, Analyse and Tommy, Olivia and Horacio, Wes and Bananas, Turbo and Tamara, Michele and Corey, Nurys and Nelson (exes) and Fessy and Josh are likely teammates due to previous connections.
The outliers include rookies Johnny, Moriah, Ravyn, Emmy, as well as returning players Jay, Nam, and Nany. Some of the players named could serve as alternates and not make the final cast.
It was rumored that Big Brother fan-favorite and The Challenge star Da’Vonne Rogers would appear in the season following a four-year break. However, she got dropped for unknown reasons, some think due to her choice, reportedly resulting in the removal of Big Brother 23 runner-up Derek “Big D” Frazier from the season. The Challenge airs on MTV.
