The Challenge: Total Madness has come to an end, and season 36 of the show was officially announced. We’re not sure which veteran players will be returning for another go at the big prize money. And we’re also anxious to see which rookie players will try their hand at winning.

Ashley Mitchell infamously won $1 million via The Challenge. And she just called out her fellow competitors for already making deals and orchestrating fake fights ahead of the season. Here’s what she said.

Contestant Dee Nguyen was called out for orchestrating drama off-camera

It’s clear Challenge contestants try to coordinate deals prior to coming on to the show. Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio and Wes Bergmann decided to form an alliance prior to Total Madness filming. And Dee Nguyen and Jenny West also connected prior to the show. Unfortunately, prior to Nguyen’s firing for her offensive Twitter comments, she was called out by Chris “Swaggy C” Williams for trying to create fake drama with him and Bayleigh Dayton to bring to season 36.

“Dee always wanna call people to solidify a storyline for next season WHILE snorting coke ON THE PHONE like its no big deal,” Williams tweeted in the thick of the drama against Nguyen. “YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. You’re a CLOUT-chaser. You love attention. PERIOD.”

And he didn’t stop there. “Dee gon’ text me ‘hey make sure you tell Bayleigh to keep me blocked & you still talk bad about me. I’m thinking of storylines for season 36,'” he tweeted again. “Everything is not for f*cking clout and drama. The f*ck. CLOWN.”

Ashley Mitchell tweeted that competitors are already making ‘fake fights’ for season 36

Mitchell is one of the most notorious players in the game, as she’s successfully made it to multiple finals and she’s won the game more than once. According to her, it looks like some competitors who will appear on season 36 of The Challenge are already scheming, too.

“Some of these people already making up story lines…. Can we get real ones only,” she tweeted on July 22.

In addition to that, she tweeted, “Also want y’all to know the same old, old characters already up to their old tricks. Sliding in dms, making pre alliances, and figuring out fake fights. Make reality real again y’all.”

A fan replied to that tweet with, “How are they making up storylines for a season that nobody’s confirmed for? And isn’t happening for over a month? The desperation.”

Mitchell wrote back, “People are hearing what rookies were contacted and sliding inside…. the usual.”

‘Challenge’ fans think Wes Bergmann could be making deals

Bergmann has a reputation for making deals with multiple Challenge players prior to the season starting. And Challenge fans think that might be who Mitchell is referring to.

“Sounds like a Wes or Cara move,” one Reddit user wrote.

Another defended Bergmann, though, as they trust he’s not creating drama. “Wes isn’t one to plan storylines, though,” they responded. “Like, he’s not planning fights. He’s making alliances, which is fine.”

Others think it’s a smart move to contact potential allies and form something strong before the season starts.

“I don’t see the big deal,” another wrote. “If you do this show enough, then it’s apart of your life. So, you absolutely should start the game before the season starts.”

Will Mitchell be back for another season of the show — and will she create a lasting alliance? We’ll have to wait and find out.
