The Challenge: All Stars features players from MTV’s The Challenge who are known for their excellent gameplay through the years. While the players may be older than the typical contestants on the mainstream seasons now, they’re still ready to get cutthroat and get that $500,000 prize. But a few of the players have never won The Challenge in the past despite competing on multiple seasons.

Who is on ‘The Challenge: All Stars’ 2021?

The Challenge: All Stars is bringing fan favorites from MTV’s The Challenge together — and many of the players haven’t stepped foot on reality TV in years.

Us Weekly gives the full cast list for the show. Arissa Hill, Jisela Delgado, Kellyanne Judd, Jonna Mannion, and Jemmye Carroll are back, just to name a few of the women who got their start on The Real World or Road Rules aiming to win the grand prize. Beth Stolarczyk is the oldest person competing on the show, and she also started off reality TV with The Real World: Los Angeles. Today, she’s 52.

As for the men, Mark Long, who’s 49, spearheaded the idea for an All Stars season. The show also features Derrick Kosinski, one of the hosts of the Challange Mania podcast, and Nehemiah Clark, Alton Williams, Yes Duffy, Teck Holmes, and Syrus Yarbrough, to name a few.

There are two players on this season who also competed on The Challenge: Double Agents. Darrell Taylor and Aneesa Ferreira, a fierce pair of veteran players, are back on All Stars for back-to-back season action.

Fans of the show likely anticipate many (or all) of the All Stars players winning past seasons of MTV’s The Challenge. But that’s not necessarily the case. While some returning All Stars competitors are seasoned vets who’ve won the big money, others have never won.

So, who hasn’t won from the cast? According to Us Weekly, Arissa Hill, Jisela Delgado, Kellyanne Judd, Jonna Mannion, Jemmye Carroll, Aneesa Ferreira, Kendal Sheppard, Teck Holmes, Laterrian Wallace, Ace Amerson, Yes Duffy, Beth Stolarczyk, Trishelle Cannatella, Eric Banks, and Ruthie Alcaide have never won. That’s 15 cast members out of 22. But a number of them have made it to the finals, so they have what it takes to get to the end.

As for who’s won the most, that award goes to Darrell. While he didn’t take home the win for Double Agents, Darrell won The GauntletThe InfernoThe Inferno IIFresh Meat, and Champs vs. Pros.

Does ‘The Challenge’ cast get paid?

‘The Challenge: All Stars’: How Much Money Can Contestants Win?

Are contestants on MTV’s The Challenge paid whether they win the show or not? What about The Challenge: All Stars? Given what past cast members said, they are given a paycheck even if they don’t win the grand prize — but that amount greatly varies depending on how well-known each player is.

Returning players, aka “veterans,” can reportedly bring $3,000 to $5,000 home each week just for playing. Newer players reportedly make around $1,000 each week.

Veteran player Tori Deal spoke about this on MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast, too. “I promise you, we don’t go on the show for free,” she said. “My a** is not going on a 40-foot platform, hanging over a helicopter, eating cabbage for no reason, OK. You’re gonna pay me. And the more shows we do, the more we get paid.”

Because the All Stars players are all veterans who’ve competed in the past, we’re betting their paychecks are on the higher end. Ultimately, they’re all after the big prize at the end, though. We’ll have to wait and see who wins it all.
