The Challenge finalist Fessy Shafaat called out legend Mark Long after multi-season champ CT Tamburello seemingly ignored his request to “settle” their disputes in a boxing match. However, “The Godfather” recently responded, noting “I gotta box this guy,” during a recent appearance on Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio’s podcast.

Fessy Shafaat and Mark Long are likely setting up a boxing match

In Dec. 2021, The Challenge finalist Fessy Shafaat claimed multi-season champ CT Tamburello didn’t want to encounter him in a boxing match.

Still wanting to face another legend from The Challenge, the two-time finalist called out Vendettas finalist Tony Raines and “the Godfather,” Mark Long. The latter showed interest as he claimed he didn’t believe Fessy could beat him.

During a Jan. 2022 episode of the Death, Taxes, and Bananas podcast, Mark told host Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, “I gotta box this guy” as he thinks Fessy can’t find anyone else to face.

Although he hadn’t boxed before and noted their 20-year-age gap, the legend wants to “give him a whirl” and believes he could defeat the two-time finalist in an elimination. According to Mark, the boxing bout will seemingly have a theme, good versus evil.”

He previously wanted to box CT Tamburello

Several former houseguests from the Big Brother US franchise and Canadian spinoff faced off against each other in a televised boxing bout available pay-per-view.

Before his victory against BBCan season 2 winner Jon Pardy, the BB20 houseguest called out his Challenge co-star and multi-season champ CT wanting to box him next. Posting a screenshot of the two arguing during Double Agents, he asked the veteran to “settle this in a boxing ring.”

However, the veteran seemingly ignored Fessy as he didn’t publicly respond. The 41-year-old went on to win The Challenge: Spies, Lies, and Allies, his second in a row, and a follower asked about the potential boxing bout between the two.

Fessy claimed he had already contacted the reigning champ regarding the match but insisted his co-star “ain’t ’bout it.” CT still hasn’t publicly acknowledged the call-out.

Has Fessy won a season of ‘The Challenge’ yet?

After competing on Big Brother 20, the Orlando native tried his hand on The Challenge, debuting on season 35’s Total Madness (2020).

As he appeared alongside a few of his former houseguests, Fessy found himself in a close alliance and advanced to the finals after eliminating three-time champ Jordan Wiseley. He placed fourth and then returned for the following season, Double Agents.

Although Fessy had a great start, he threw himself into elimination to team up with close ally Kaycee Clark. His move proved futile as she injured herself during the final, and he placed fourth again. The 30-year-old returned for Spies, Lies, and Allies and again started strong.

However, he got into a heated argument with ally Josh Martinez that turned physical and resulted in his removal from the series. Fessy has competed in three seasons and participated in two finals but hasn’t secured a win yet. The Challenge airs on MTV.
