Leroy Garrett is a fan favorite from MTV’s The Challenge, and he’s hoping to win Double Agents. So far, he has his gold skull, and he’s well on his way to the final. So, how old was Leroy when he first got his start on the show, and what was his age when he was on The Real World?

While plenty of rookies are competing on MTV’s The Challenge: Double Agents, Leroy is a veteran known for staying true to his alliances and level-headed through every season. He got his start on the show with Rivals in 2011, and he’s competed on many other seasons since, like Battle of the Exes II, Vendettas, War of the Worlds 2, Rivals II, Free Agents, Battle of the Bloodlines, and XXX: Dirty 30, just to name a few.
Prior to The Challenge, Leroy made his reality TV debut with The Real World: Las Vegas, in 2011. Today, he’s 35 years old, and he’ll be turning 36 on May 16, 2021. Back when he started on The Real World, he was around 25 or 26.
Fans of Leroy should certainly watch Double Agents, as it might be his last season of The Challenge, too.
“Coming into this game, I need to make very smart power moves that may upset some other people,” he explained, according to People. “Seasons before, I always thought about other people’s feelings — this season I really don’t care, because this is my last and final season and I really want to get this win.”
Has Leroy ever won ‘The Challenge’?
While Leroy’s been a finalist on a few seasons of MTV’s The Challenge, he’s never come in first place. And because Double Agents is allegedly his last season, he wants to make sure he pulls through with a win. But more important than winning, he knows he’s a role model for a number of the young Black men who watch the show.
“I have felt the pressure of not being stereotypical,” he told E! News. “By this I mean some look at Blacks as being loud, violent, up in your face or not being well educated. For myself, I’m none of the above or show any traces of that. I don’t even think you can count on one hand any of my altercations.”
Leroy then added that he carries himself on the show in a “very strategic” way. “I knew there were other young African Americans looking up to me, thinking, ‘Wow, if he could do it, I could do it too,'” he added.
How old is Kam Williams? Are Kam and Leroy still together?
Leroy met Kam Williams via MTV’s The Challenge, and the two have had a rocky relationship. As for Kam’s age, she’s 26, nine years younger than Leroy. Despite their age gap, they appear to make the perfect pair — and they’re still together today.
Kam and Leroy started to rekindle their romance during a recent season. They went through a public breakup, ScreenRant reports, but their romance blossomed once again, and they seem to be better than ever during Double Agents. Now, it looks like the happy couple is looking forward to moving in together.
“It’s official, we’re moving to Houston!” Kam posted to Instagram in November 2020. “We just signed our lease to move into our new place in two weeks! I’m so excited to start this journey with you, especially since it’s something new for the both of us. I didn’t know my life would’ve changed like this when I met you 4 years ago and I’m happy that it did.”
