‘The Challenge’ Instagram Suggests a Dramatic Reunion Between Tori Deal and Fessy Shafaat
Fans of MTV’s The Challenge are excited to hear what’s in store for the next season — but first, the Double Agents reunion special will air. This season, rumors suggested contestants Tori Deal and Fessy Shafaat got flirty during and after the show. And it looks like The Challenge Instagram suggests there could be drama between them at the reunion.
Are Tori and Fessy from ‘The Challenge’ together? Rumors circulated from ‘Double Agents’
Tori and Fessy are both incredibly tough competitors on MTV’s The Challenge, and they both competed on Double Agents. During the season, Tori was engaged to Jordan Wiseley. But Fessy shared his attraction to Tori with the cameras.
After the show, Tori and Jordan called off their engagement. And Challenge sleuths later found evidence of Tori and Fessy vacationing together. A photo circulated of the two of them in Turks and Caicos, causing plenty of speculation, as they were both seemingly single at the time.
Tori addressed the rumors head-on via MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast, though. She’s well-aware fans talked about her and Fessy, and she set the record straight by saying they’re not romantically involved at all.
“Fessy and I definitely linked up for a second to see what was good,” Tori explained, “but the truth is that Fessy and I found out we are definitely better as friends. … We’re just homies, and that’s it, so I’m just going to say that right now.”

Despite Tori verifying that nothing romantic went on between her and Fessy, it looks like MTV’s The Challenge Instagram is pushing the idea that there could be drama during the Double Agents reunion.
On April 23, 2021, the Instagram posted a poll to Instagram Stories. “Which #TheChallenge36 reunion moment are you most excited to see?” the poll asked. There were then two options for fans — Fessy and Tori, or Leroy and Kam. Leroy and Kam are dating outside of the show.
“Really MTV …. Really playing the Tori/Fessy drama,” a fan commented on Reddit regarding the poll. “I wonder if they’re going to air any unseen footage?”
“They are pushing this one so hard,” another fan wrote. “At the same time, I wonder if it will be one of those Tori comes clean moment.”
“I mean, why wouldn’t they play it up?” another commented. “They were spotted together vacationing less than a week after she and Jordan broke up. If that doesn’t scream shady stuff happened, nothing does.”
Season 37 will feature both Tori and Fessy together again
We’re not sure exactly what will go on between Tori and Fessy during the reunion, but there’s no doubt the vacation drama will come to the surface. Looking forward, it looks like both competitors will be on MTV’s The Challenge Season 37, too.
So far, little is known about the season — but it is rumored that production is happening in Croatia. As for the cast, multiple cast lists have been introduced at this point. And they all have Tori and Fessy listed, so it’s quite possible they’re both competing again, as they both adore the game and are tough physical threats.
MTV could add even more drama by casting Jordan, too. While there were talks of Jordan getting cast, it doesn’t look like he’s on season 37 as of now, but we’ll have to wait and see.
