Jemmye Carroll reality television history on MTV

In 2010, then 21-year-old Mississippi-native Jemmye Carroll made her reality television debut on MTV’s The Real World: New Orleans. She fell for her roommate, the late Ryan Knight, and the two dated for a little over a year.

They both competed together as rookies on MTV’s reality competition show, The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons. She came back for Rivals II partnered with nemesis Camila Nakagawa where the Real World star made it to her first and currently only final, earning her $7,500.

Carroll also competed in Battle of the Exes II with ex-boyfriend Knight and returned alone for Free Agents, Vendettas, Dirty 30, and Final Reckoning

What is the premise of ‘The Reality House?’

Created and hosted by Kian Lawley and JC Caylen, the YouTube series consists of 12-13 YouTubers who live together in a house and compete in challenges for a cash prize.

Whoever loses the challenge immediately goes into elimination alongside a contestant the majority of the house votes in. The winner of the challenge stays in the game, while the loser exits the property.

The first season included 13 contestants with Kristen McAtee finishing runner-up and Crawford Collins taking home the victory and $25,000. For the second season, a total of 16 YouTubers arrived at the mansion to compete.

However, Yousef Erakat and Brittany Tomlinson were purged and never moved into the house, along with returning players Sarah Baska, Trisha Paytas, and Elijah Daniel, who did not win their way back.

After Andrea Russett quit in Episode 7, followed by the controversial elimination of Harrison Ford, the remaining four competed in the finals, and Lena “The Plug” Nersesian earned the upped grand prize of $50,000.

Because of how similar the game is to Big Brother and The Challenge, many fans have stated they would like to see former houseguests and Challengers compete on the show.

Jemmye Carroll expressed interest in joining ‘The Reality House’

Currently, The Reality House is casting for its third season. Host and creator JC Caylen tweeted, “Yo if you wanna be on The Reality House and want $50K hit me up.” He added, “We are building the contestant list now.”

While they have already stated fan-favorite Harrison Ford will return for Season 3, the YouTube duo have also hinted that Tana Mongeau also joins the cast.

Therefore, there are at least ten more spots available to popular creators. Wanting in on the action, Carroll quote tweeted it and asked Caylen to “slide into my DMs” as she’s interested in competing.

The MTV star also has a YouTube channel with over 7,000 subscribers where she uploads Ex on the Beach recaps and other tell-all videos, making her a YouTuber and eligible for the web series.

A few of her followers tweeted their support for Carroll joining the show as they believe her “politic game would be fire.” Other known Challengers, including Kailah Casillas, Johnny Bananas, and Josh Martinez, also follow JC, which might be a sign they’re interested as well, even though they aren’t YouTubers.
