‘The Challenge’ Stars Jordan Wiseley and Tori Deal Split After 3 Years of Dating
Fan-favorite couple Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley began dating in the summer of 2017 after meeting on The Challenge: Dirty 30. Two years later, Wiseley proposed to Deal during an episode of War of the Worlds 2. However, the couple weren’t able to make it work and announced their breakup a year later.
Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley met on ‘The Challenge’
In 2013, The Real World: Portland star Jordan Wiseley made his debut on The Challenge: Rivals II in which he placed third. He returned for Free Agents but went home before the finals when he volunteered for an elimination he ended up losing.
Nonetheless, Wiseley went on to win the next three seasons he participated in back-to-back. Are You the One? 4 star Tori Deal debuted on Dirty 30 (2017) alongside then-boyfriend, Are You the One? 5 contestant Derrick Henry.
After his early elimination, she went on to the finals with C.T. Tamburello and Wiseley. Deal ended up falling for Wiseley and cheated on Henry with him. Despite the circumstances, the couple decided to pursue a relationship.
Wiseley proposed to Deal
The two moved in with each other and returned shortly later for War of the Worlds 2 (2019). They proved themselves as a power couple as both won two eliminations before switching to Team UK, where they made it to the finals.
Following a winning Proving Ground performance, Wiseley got down on one knee and proposed to Deal. The two also held an engagement party with their fellow cast members.
Wiseley went on to win the season alongside his three teammates, earning $250,000. After getting engaged, the couple traveled and began releasing music together.
Additionally, Deal launched a podcast in which she detailed her relationship beginnings with Wiseley and opened up about issues they’ve had. The two have also become proud parents of a sphynx cat, Miso.
Deal and Wiseley announced their separation
In October 2020, Deal competed on The Challenge 36: Double Agents while Wiseley stayed home. After filming, she didn’t return to her home with Wiseley, and fans began speculating that she temporarily moved into an Airbnb. Deal addressed the rumors and asked fans to respect her privacy.
A few weeks later, she and Wiseley both announced the two had chosen to part ways. Deal shared a picture of her and her former fiancé embracing and explained they decided to separate because several “little incidents” caused the couple to realize they “need our own space.” Additionally, Deal explained the two are “still processing, hurting, and healing” and asked fans not to pit them against each other.
Wiseley posted five pictures with Deal during their happier times and echoed her sentiments in his lengthy caption. He insisted he still loves the AYTO star but explained they “weren’t able to escape the pressures that come with being in a very public relationship.”
Wiseley denied his resurfaced offensive comments played a part in their breakup and promised they would continue to “support” each other. While some fans claimed they saw the separation coming, many were shocked as they thought the competitive couple would last. The Challenge 36: Double Agents premieres on Dec. 9 at 8/7c on MTV.
