‘The Challenge’: Nelson Thomas and Angela Babicz Reportedly Vacationing Together 1 Year After Split
The Challenge stars Nelson Thomas and Angela Babicz fell for each other during Ex on the Beach season 2 and began dating shortly afterward. Following a three-year on and off relationship, the couple called it quits a final time in Mar. 2020. After over a year since their last breakup, the two have seemingly reconnected and are reportedly vacationing together in Puerto Rico.

After meeting on Ex on the Beach season 2 in 2018, The Challenge stars Nelson Thomas and Angela Babicz began a relationship.
However, the two later appeared in a 2019 episode of Dr. Phil where she accused her boyfriend of displaying “toxic” traits. The reality star claimed he ripped off her fingernail during a fight, repeatedly cheated on her, and allegedly threatened to release compromising pictures and videos of her.
According to Angela, she and Nelson split at least 20 times before appearing on the daytime talk show. Although she concluded they should separate, the two got back together after the show and broke up a final time in Mar. 2020.
In a YouTube video, Angela called the split “the best thing to ever happen” to her and later referred to Nelson as her “worst ex.”
They are currently reportedly vacationing together
Following their breakup, the two had an up-and-down friendship as they would hang out but then throw subliminal shots at each other on social media.
Over a year after their split, the Bad Girls Club star addressed their current relationship in a YouTube video, noting she and her ex began communicating again and have gotten to a better place. However, she also referred to him as a great friend but not as good of a partner.
Even so, the two have reportedly reconnected recently as they both posted pictures of the same meal cooking to their Instagram Stories in Oct. 2021.
Many fans believe the reality stars are currently vacationing together in Puerto Rico, although their relationship status is unclear. Neither have explicitly addressed their reunion or reported vacation.

Despite meeting each other with their exes living under the same roof, Nelson and Angela fell for each other and seemed inseparable after the show.
The couple traveled the world and moved in together, but they appeared on Dr. Phil as she accused him of “toxic” behavior and cheating on her. Although Angela claimed she would leave Nelson after various exercises, the two left the show together and continued to date.
He made several appearances on her YouTube channel, and they frequently posted pictures and videos of each other on their social media. The couple dated on and off for nearly three years before their last breakup in Mar. 2020.
While they’ve remained single since, Nelson recently had a fling with Ashley Mitchell and a short-lived romance with rookie Berna Canbeldek during his time on The Challenge 37, which he finished filming a few months before the vacation.
