Many fans of The Challenge believe that Chris “CT” Tamburello is the GOAT. He is one of the most beloved competitors to ever appear on the long-running running MTV series. And the majority of CT’s co-stars have nothing but positive things to say about the five-time champ.

But during a recent appearance on MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast, one of those former co-stars actually slammed CT and the constant love he gets from competitors and fans.

Ryan Kehoe and CT Tamburello appeared on two seasons of ‘The Challenge’ together

Ryan Kehoe competed against a young, hot-headed CT in the earlier days of The Challenge. They were on separate teams in The Gauntlet III, when CT made it to the end and Ryan was eliminated just before the final. They were also both part of The Duel II cast. But CT was disqualified before the season began when he got into a fight with Adam King.

Ryan hasn’t been around CT since his transformation into a hard-working and laser-focused husband and father. The last time Ryan saw his former co-star was at Diem Brown’s funeral in 2014, and he admits he doesn’t know CT on “a personal level.” But that didn’t prevent Ryan from lashing out at his former co-star on MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast.

While speaking about his training methods before his return to The Challenge on All Stars 2, Ryan said he did some running and light pilates before bringing up CT.

Ryan Kehoe is all over the place with his opinions about CT Tamburello

“He’s such a f****** tool,” Ryan told co-hosts Aneesa Ferreira and Tori Deal, per Heavy. He then said that he believes CT’s wins are deserved before adding a nasty insult. “I find him to be the most vile human being in the world,” Ryan told a shocked Tori and Aneesa.

Both Tori and Aneesa said that they respected Ryan for giving his “raw” opinion. But Tori made it clear she would never speak badly about CT. Especially since he just gave her $50,000 for coming in second place on Spies, Lies, and Allies.

“Do I think that he has a good bone in his body? Yes. Have I seen it often? No,” Ryan added, before listing CT’s strengths as a competitor. But then, he turned around and added another insult. “Do I think he’s a dirty d*** f***? Yes, I don’t like him, I really don’t. I don’t like him.”

‘The Challenge’ GOAT feels vindicated after ‘Spies, Lies, and Allies’

Ryan continued his back-and-forth between praising and insulting CT by acknowledging that his five wins were deserved.

“He deserves to win because he trains hard and is really strong,” Ryan said. “Do I think he deserves to win all the big money? Yes because he wins, that’s really what The Challenge is, you gotta just persevere.”

As for CT, he says he “cut a lot of the bulls**t” out his life and started taking care of himself in recent years. Which helped him score his back-to-back wins. He says he returned to The Challenge after walking away for years because of his son.

“I feel vindicated. I kind of came out of retirement because after having a kid, I didn’t want him to see me from the past,” CT told Mashable. “I wanted to get back [on] my feet, get in shape, and to get right. I feel like I’ve done that.”

Fans can watch most seasons of The Challenge on Paramount+. Season 38 should return to MTV in 2022.
