MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ Season 37 sneak peek shows a very physical daily challenge
Viewers of MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 have seen a number of difficult daily challenges. And it seems episode 17 will feature another tough physical feat. The Challenge official Twitter posted a sneak preview of what’s to come — and it’s not going to be easy.
“Today’s mission is called Dead Drop,” host TJ Lavin explains to the competitors. Competitors are suspended above the water on what Lavin calls “the gauntlet” — a large, balance beam structure. While one team runs across the balance beam to grab “capsules” on the other side and return them to the start, the players on the other teams try to knock players off the beam with large tethered balls.
Kyle Christie, CT Tamburello, and Emy Alupei make up the Sapphire Cell, and they go first. The Ruby Cell has Tori Deal, Logan Sampedro, and Nelson Thomas. And the Emerald Cell has Devin Walker, Kaycee Clark, Nany González, Amanda Garcia, and Emanuel Neagu. Given what we know about The Challenge Season 37 elimination spoilers this episode, it seems either the Ruby Cell or the Emerald Cell lose.
‘The Challenge’ Season 37 elimination spoilers: Who goes home in episode 17?
Who’s headed home in MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 Episode 17? According to The Challenge Season 37 elimination spoilers from Reddit, it’s the two rookie men, Emanuel and Logan, who go head to head in The Lair. Emanuel comes out on top, sending Logan home.
Emanuel managed to escape every male elimination prior to episode 17. His showmance with Tori Deal may have offered him some protection with the veteran players. Additionally, he remained on the Emerald Cell ever since the cell twist was introduced into the game. The Emerald Cell members proved they came to play, as they won most of the daily missions.
Prior to episode 17, Logan competed in two other eliminations. He won against Gabo Szabó and Cory Wharton.
How many rookies make it to the final?
The Challenge Season 37 cast believes the final is coming soon after the episode 17 male elimination. So, which rookies make it all the way to the end? According to The Challenge Season 37 elimination spoilers, Emy Alupei makes it to the final, but Emanuel doesn’t. While Emanuel defeats Logan and sends him home, the last male elimination is reportedly Devin against Emanuel, and Devin wins.
As for Emy, she won four eliminations during Spies, Lies, and Allies, making her rookie of the year. She nearly touched Sarah Greyson’s record of winning five eliminations in her season, The Gauntlet. Sarah’s elimination record has yet to be broken by anyone ever in the history of the game, but Emy certainly came close.
Does Emy become The Challenge Season 37 winner for the women? Unfortunately, she loses to Kaycee. But we’re sure we’ll see her in the future.
