MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 is quickly coming to a close, and fans continue to see plenty of twists and turns prior to the final. The show began with 17 international players and 17 U.S. players, and now, the contestants are divided into three cells. It seems production has one more wrench to throw into the mix prior to the final, though. Here are The Challenge Season 37 spoiler rumors suggesting a double elimination happens right before the final.

[Spoiler alert: MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 spoilers ahead regarding the elimination prior to the final.]

MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ Season 37 cast members initially competed in pairs throughout the season

MTV’s The Challenge Season 37, Spies, Lies, and Allies, looks a lot different further along in the season than it did when it first began. The season started with 17 international players and 17 U.S. players in pairs — and it even started with more rookies than veterans. Unfortunately for the rookie players, the veterans created an all-vet alliance that absolutely dominated the competition. They threw in rookie after rookie into The Lair, protecting the more seasoned players for a chance to make it to the final.

Everything changed with the cell twist, though. Players divided into Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby Cells, with the Ruby Cell notoriously losing daily challenge after daily challenge. The Emerald Cell started with Josh Martinez, Devin Walker, Kaycee Clark, Nany González, Emanuel Neagu, and Tori Deal, and they proved they were a force to be reckoned with. Over time, though, the other cells weakened Emerald and took out a few players.

By episode 17, The Challenge Season 37 spoilers note only three rookies remain in the game, along with eight veterans.

MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ Season 37 spoilers: A double elimination may happen prior to the final

According to MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 spoilers, a double elimination will happen right before the final — and it seems it serves as one final twist for the cast. Additionally, host T.J. Lavin seems to confirm the twist at the end of episode 17.

Reddit users posted a spreadsheet of spoilers for a number of Challenge shows. The spreadsheet shows episode 18 — the last episode prior to the final — involves four participants in The Lair. In episode 17, the men had an elimination, so the cast likely believes they’re all headed to the final or another women’s elimination day is coming. To their shock, it seems the double-elimination involves a pair of women and a pair of men competing.

So, who’s going against who? The spreadsheet shows Devin competes against Emanuel and Tori competes against Amanda. We imagine Tori and Amanda, rivals in season 37, will duke it out hard to try and stay in the game.

A number of veteran players avoided eliminations completely this season

Some players had to see The Lair a number of times in Spies, Lies, and Allies. But The Challenge Season 37 spoilers note a few players never had to see an elimination at all. Out of all the remaining players who make it to the final, Kaycee, CT, Nany, and Nelson never had to fight for their lives in an elimination. This proves to be a major mistake on the cast’s part, too. Kaycee and CT reportedly become The Challenge Season 37 winners.

Emy certainly wins rookie of the year. She won four eliminations in The Lair and took out a number of veteran players. We can’t wait to see her compete again in the future and hopefully make it to another final where she can dominate.

MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on MTV.
