‘The Challenge’ Season 37: Tori Deal and Rookie Emanuel Neagu Spark More Romance Rumors After Instagram Post
MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 cast is ready to play hard in an attempt to win the big money this season. Given what fans see in the trailer, it looks like we’ll see plenty of hookups on the show, too. Recently, newcomer Emanuel Neagu posted a photo of Tori Deal on his Instagram Stories — and it has fans wondering if there’s something romantic going on between them.

Is Tori Deal single going into MTV’s The Challenge Season 37? Fans of the tough competitor know all about her relationship with Jordan Wiseley. The competitors got engaged on the show, and they competed on multiple seasons together. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make their relationship work. Jordan Wiseley and Tori Deal announced their breakup in November 2020. Now, it looks like she’s headed into The Challenge: Spies, Lies, and Allies totally single.
“I went into the season being like, ‘I’m 100% not going to talk to any guys!’” Tori told Us Weekly. “And then I got there and I was like, this is just so not me, like, this just feels like it’s not on brand. I love people. Let me just make some connections, have a good time. So that’s what I did — made some connections, had a good time.”
Tori then mentioned she “definitely opened up more this season, just like letting the world kind of watch me have that connection.” She added she “builds some stuff on-screen,” too, so we look forward to seeing what that looks like.
Rookie player Emanuel Neagu and Tori Deal are sparking romance rumors
It looks like Tori Deal and rookie player Emanuel Neagu from MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 cast might get cozy during the season. Emanuel joins Spies, Lies, and Allies as a newcomer from Survivor Romania. Eagle-eyed fans continue to suspect the two of them are dating now that the season has finished filming.
Initially, fans noticed photos on social media of the cast members in Ibiza — and it seemed like Tori and Emanuel were getting close. And even more recently, Emanuel posted a photo of Tori to his Instagram Stories. The photo is the same one of Tori she posted to her own Instagram on Aug. 4, 2021. A Reddit user took a screenshot of the post.
“She would be with the Jordan look-alike,” a Reddit user wrote. “Love her though. And I’m very excited for Emanuel this season.”
“If Tori and Emanuel are a thing, I’m guessing he does well this season,” another fan commented.
Additionally, Tori commented fire emojis on Emanuel’s Instagram post he added on Aug. 6, 2021. To that, Emanuel responded with three cat heart-eye emojis, three heart emojis, and a love emoji.

Is there really something going on between Tori and Emanuel? Given what’s happening on social media, it sure looks like the two met each other on MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 and hit it off ever since. But the trailer for the new season shows a different story.
According to the trailer, Michele Fitzgerald and Emanuel seemingly have an established relationship in the house, as they kiss.
“Michele and Emanuel are two Survivor beasts, and that’s dangerous,” Josh Martinez’s voiceover states in the trailer. If Emanuel and Tori really do get together during the season, this could create an epic feud between Tori and Michele. We’ll have to wait and see what happens once The Challenge returns on Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. EST on MTV.
