‘The Challenge’ Season 38 Cast: Is Kam Williams Returning? She Answered Truthfully via Instagram
MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 winners were finally announced. After a grueling final, Kaycee Clark and CT Tamburello took home the big money while choosing to split a portion of their earnings with the other finalists. And fans want to know what’s coming for The Challenge Season 38. Recently, fan-favorite competitor Kam Williams took to Instagram to answer whether she’ll return to the show. Here’s what she said.

MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 was a wild ride from start to finish. The season, appropriately named Spies, Lies, and Allies, continued with the spy theme from previous seasons. While Kaycee Clark and CT Tamburello took home the win, a number of other veteran players made it far, as they picked the rookies off one by one through the season.
So, who will become part of The Challenge Season 38 cast? According to Monsters & Critics, spoiler guru PinkRose noted tons of veteran players received a casting call for the next season. The call allegedly includes Cara Maria Sorbello and Paulie Calafiore — two veteran players who haven’t participated in recent seasons.
The new season will also involve new rookies, of course. The publication notes rumors suggest Big Brother 23 star Kyland Young will join the cast, too. Kyland was spotted out with Fessy Shafaat, Nelson Thomas, and Josh Martinez.
Will Kam Williams join ‘The Challenge’ Season 38 cast? She answered on Instagram
Fans want to see Kam Williams join MTV’s The Challenge Season 38 cast. She reached the final of Vendettas, War of the Worlds 2, and Double Agents, and she competed on Final Reckoning and War of the Worlds as well. She’s known as one of the strongest women to ever compete on the show. There’s no denying that if Kam returned to the show, she’d be a physical and social threat.
A Reddit user posted Kam’s response when a fan asked about coming back to The Challenge for future seasons. It seems she definitely has plans to come back — but not immediately.
“People always think cause [Leroy Garrett] retired so did I. Lol,” Kam wrote. “I be like, ‘Who said dat?’ … I just want my business @kamkollection to be at a certain place where I have a team that can run it before I take on anything else. I’m still learning as I go ….”
Additionally, MTV revealed Kam and Leroy are expecting their first child together. “Feels so good to be able to announce & share that we are becoming parents!!” Kam wrote on Instagram, according to the publication. “Our journey never fails to surprise me!! I love you so much @royleethebarber & can’t wait to meet our new edition to our fam #Christmas2021.”
With this in mind, we doubt she’ll join The Challenge Season 38 cast. But we anticipate seeing her in future seasons.
Will Leroy Garrett come back to the show with Kam?
Leroy Garrett announced his retirement after competing in The Challenge Season 36, and he didn’t return for The Challenge Season 37. Additionally, he took to social media to further explain his decision to retire from the show. MTV’s negligence when it came to the racist behaviors of past competitors was part of that decision. It seems if Kam Williams returns to join The Challenge Season 38, she’ll do it alone.
CT Tamburello doesn’t believe Leroy will quit forever, though. “I don’t think he should retire,” CT told People. “He’s done a lot in a row. I know from personal experience. You come back and it’s good for you. It’s good for your mental health. It really is. I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of years from now … it’s such a part of our lives — and you miss it. We’ve built this whole family and we love to torture ourselves.”
