Fans are eager to hear who’s joining MTV’s The Challenge Season 38 cast. While the network hasn’t officially announced the next season yet, there’s plenty of speculation regarding who fans will see in the next era of the flagship show. According to spoiler accounts, The Challenge Season 38 cast will have a number of new rookies, not dissimilar to what occurred with The Challenge Season 37.

MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ Season 38 cast is rumored to involve 30 new contestants from CBS or international shows

MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 cast included 17 international players and a wealth of rookies. Fans felt quite divided by the number of new rookie players, as they love to see the veterans compete. Ultimately, the veterans formed an alliance and picked the rookies off one by one on the season. Now, looking forward to The Challenge Season 38 cast, many fans hoped to see some of those previous rookies return.

So, what’s going on with the cast for the next season? According to The Challenge spoiler guru GamerVev, it seems fans will get another season with plenty of new players to get to know.

The Challenge 38 will have eight MTV cast members and 30 CBS/Internationals too,” GamerVev tweeted, according to Reddit. “They started interviewing the rookies this week. I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if half the cast for 38 are rookies.”

With so many CBS and international players allegedly joining The Challenge Season 38 cast, who from MTV will join? A number of veterans from The Challenge Season 37 sparked alliance suspicion after posting photos of a vacation they took together. It’s possible Tori Deal, Nany González, Kaycee Clark, Aneesa Ferreira, Fessy Shafaat, and Devin Walker are already planning their next move.

Both Tori and Nany posted photos of the group’s vacation. Aneesa commented on Tori’s photos and claimed they didn’t discuss show politics or strategy, but that remains to be seen.

“What a great time,” Aneesa commented on Instagram. “No show talk, no bulls*** … just good energy and amazing humans. Can’t wait for the next one.”

Additional rumors from GamerVev suggest production for the new season consulted the vets regarding which rookies should get cast, a Reddit user reported. This indicates production already knows which veteran players they want to include in season 38.

‘The Challenge: War of the Worlds’ is also rumored to not involve MTV veterans

In addition to news about The Challenge Season 38 cast, The Challenge universe is expanding. The Challenge: War of the Worlds is set to combine three international Challenge shows as well as the new CBS series, which is a spinoff of the MTV flagship show. Oddly enough, rumors suggest The Challenge: War of the Worlds cast also won’t take any of the MTV veteran players.

“I was told two weeks ago that MTV is not eligible for the CBS show — we will see though,” GamerVev tweeted about the cast for the new series, according to Reddit. “I expect only CBS cast.”

We look forward to hearing more about the upcoming series. MTV’s The Challenge Season 38 release date hasn’t yet been announced, but rumors suggest the season begins filming in May 2022.
