‘The Challenge’: Tori Deal Gave a Clue Her Broken Engagement to Jordan Wiseley Isn’t as Amicable as it Seems
Fans of MTV’s The Challenge know all about Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley. Deal and Wiseley got engaged on the show, and it looked like they were destined to be together forever. Sadly, at the end of 2020, they announced they were breaking off their engagement. Now, rumors are swirling that Deal is involved with Fessy Shafaat.
Recently, Deal referenced her breakup on a podcast. And she made it sound like things aren’t as amicable as they appear on the surface. Here’s what she said.
Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley from MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ broke off their engagement
Deal and Wiseley met on The Challenge, and while Deal had a boyfriend at the time, she knew she wanted to be with Wiseley. The two teamed up on Dirty XXX and made it to the final challenge together. After that, the rest is history. Wiseley and Deal made it known they were going forth as a couple, leaving Derrick Henry, Deal’s ex, in the dust.
Wiseley then proposed to Deal on War of the Worlds II after winning his elimination round. While the two appeared to be going strong through all their ups and downs, they took to Instagram in November 2020 to announce they were calling off their engagement.
“I thought I knew love when Jordan and I were together, but there is a different kind of love that two people feel when they decide it’s time to experience life apart,” Tori wrote on Instagram. “Even though Jordan and I are going to be moving forward in separate ways, our love, support, and connection with one another only grows stronger and deeper.”
Rumors swirled that Deal may have cheated on Wiseley
Challenge sleuths found evidence that Deal and Shafaat might be romantically entangled. The two appeared to take a trip to Turks and Caicos together according to photos fans saw. Since then, rumors have swirled that Deal cheated on Wiseley with Shafaat.
Not only that, but clips from The Challenge: Double Agents showed Shafaat telling the cameras he found Deal quite attractive. And Cory Wharton also noted something was going on between the two. Deal then took to her Instagram Stories to deny the rumors.
“Uhmmm … I see how this is all being edited … but just because Fessy admits he’s attracted to me doesn’t mean I cheated,” Deal wrote on her Instagram Stories, according to E! News. “I never cheated on Jordan. So everyone needs to chill out.”
Deal gave a clue that the split wasn’t amicable
Deal told her Instagram fans that her split from Wiseley was completely amicable. “This decision was not made with malice and it does not stem from a place of anger,” she wrote on Instagram. “I know some of you may think that there was ‘one big thing’ that happened to cause this, but there wasn’t.”
However, while talking to Aneesa Ferreira on The Official Challenge Podcast, she rehashed her difficult 2020. And she mentioned some aspects of the breakup she hasn’t yet talked about publicly.
“My engagement got called off,” Deal stated on the podcast. “Girl, you don’t even know what that’s like. That sh*t — it’s all cool, it’s all amicable on the outside, but on the inside, you know how bad it hurts to have your heart broken. And then the rumors, and then people making judgments.”
Perhaps Wiseley and Deal aren’t on the best terms after all. We’ll have to wait and see what happens between them.
