‘The Circle’ Season 4 Trailer Teases a Bigger Prize, a Throuple, and the Spice Girls?
The Circle is coming back for a fourth season. But the trailer reveals the game is once again changing. Here is everything you need to know about what’s coming up on the Netflix show.
‘The Circle’ Season 4 has a bigger prize
The first three seasons had cast competing to win $100,000. The person who became most popular on the closed social media platform won it all.
Joey Sasso won season 1 playing as himself, DeLeesa St. Agathe won season 2 playing as her husband, and James Andre Jefferson Jr. won season 3 playing as himself. But for season 4, the cast will be playing for $150,000. It looks like the players will be going through a lot to win the bigger prize.
‘The Circle’ teases new twists, a throuple, and the Spice Girls
The trailer started with a data breach alert, so it looks like there will be new unexpected twists this season. Host Michelle Buteau also says, “And honey, you already know there’s more twists turns than ever before.”
Of course, there are bonding moments between the cast. There is a clip of a man writing, “This is my first #throuple.” A woman replies, “I wouldn’t want to be in a three-way with anyone else.”
The same person later asks, “Are these secret celebrities?” The words “Alert! More Spice” are shown with the silhouette of what looks like the Spice Girls.
It’s unlikely it’ll be the real Spice Girls, but someone or multiple people playing as them. In season 2, something similar happened with Lance Bass’ personal assistant, Lisa Delcampo, playing as him. To keep up the lie, she had to be on top of her N’SYNC knowledge. Sadly for her, ultimately, she didn’t win.
When does ‘The Circle’ Season 4 premiere on Netflix?
The new season will start on May 4, 2022, with the first four episodes. On May 11, episodes 5 to 8 will be released. On May 18, episodes 9 to 12 will be released. The season will end on May 25 with the finale.
Fans are already giving their theories on the new season on Reddit. “Who dat at the end? Spice Girls? That laughs sounds like Mel B,” one fan wrote.
“I believe the prevailing rumor is that it’s Victoria (“Spicy V”) from Big Brother Canada 9 and Bryce Izyah from Survivor: Cagayan. Spicy V was caught on an earlier promo, iirc, and Bryce is close friends with Jack from last season,” another fan wrote.
Someone else commented, “y’all the spice girls retweeted the trailer on twitter i think they could actually be on im lowkey spiraling rn.”
The account for the Spice Girls did share the trailer with the leopard, lollipop, and eyes emojis.
