‘The Curse of Oak Island’ Season 12 premieres Nov. 12
Rick and Marty Lagina have been digging for treasure on Oak Island for more than a decade. They’re convinced that a cache of riches is located on the island off the coast of Nova Scotia. Yet despite extensive excavations, they’ve so far only turned up a few scattered artifacts. But they’re not giving up the dream.
“This story is a testament to the power of faith and hope,” Rick says in the teaser for the teaser for The Curse of Oak Island Season 12 (via YouTube), which premieres Nov. 12. “We’re all ready to solve this mystery. But we can only do it together.”
Rick and Marty Lagina make an exciting discovery near the money pit
In the “epic” 12th season of The Curse of Oak Island, Rick and Marty embrace cutting-edge technology to aid them in their search for the island’s treasure. The new tools help them pinpoint a large source of precious metals deep within the Money Pit area and execute a core-drilling operation to find the valuables they’ve previously discovered during large-scale excavations.
Season 12 will also highlight the new discoveries that shed additional light on the mystery of the island’s treasure, in addition to revealing secrets that could corroborate the theory that Oak Island was visited multiple time by people from medieval European cultures.
‘Tales From Oak Island’ premieres Nov. 19
In addition to another season of The Curse of Oak Island, a new show, Tales From Oak Island, will premiere Nov. 19 on History Channel.
Tales From Oak Island “dives deeper than ever before into the incredible people, fascinating theories, and critical discoveries made by the many searchers who have devoted their lives to unlocking the locale’s many secrets and treasures,” according to History Channel’s description of the show.
“What could be hidden in the vault deep under Oak Island?” the synopsis continues. “Priceless religious relics connected to the Knights Templar? A stolen haul of silver from a sunken Spanish galleon? The spoils from a colonial-era military victory in the Caribbean? Could they all be connected to the same mysterious group of medieval conspirators?”
The Curse of Oak Island Season 12 premieres Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. ET on History Channel. Tales From Oak Island premieres Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 10 p.m. ET.
