The Duggar Family May Have Said Anna Duggar Gave Birth to Her and Josh Duggar’s 7th Child, Critics Allege
Josh Duggar news continues to dominate the headlines as his trial looms closer — but all eyes are also on the Duggar family and Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar. Anna initially announced her pregnancy with their seventh child via Instagram. But since Josh’s arrest, she hasn’t given any updates on what’s going on with her family. Now, Duggar family critics suspect Josh’s family just left a major clue suggesting Anna had the baby.
Josh Duggar news took over the headlines after his arrest in April 2021
Fans and critics of the Duggar family know Josh Duggar was never a regular on TLC’s Counting On. But now, the family has more to worry about than anything that occurred with Josh from years past. In April 2021, federal agents arrested Josh on suspicion of obtaining child sexual abuse material. The agents claim to have found the material downloaded on a computer found at Josh’s workplace, Wholesale Motorcars.
Josh and his legal team attempted to get the case dismissed in court, but their attempts failed. Additionally, Josh may have had the opportunity to accept a plea deal. With a plea deal, he could potentially accept a guilty plea for a lighter sentence down the road. But reports suggest Josh didn’t take a plea deal and instead will head to court over the matter in November 2021.
Anna Duggar also showed up to court with Josh in September 2021 to seemingly show her support. She was still pregnant with their seventh child at the time.
Critics suspect the Duggar family spilled the beans about Anna Duggar giving birth
Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar posted a pregnancy announcement to Instagram on April 23, 2021. “We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall!” Anna captioned the post.
Now, it seems the Duggar family may have spilled the beans about the birth of Anna and Josh Duggar’s child. Jim Bob Duggar recently announced he’s running for Arkansas Senate, and the Duggars posted the news to Facebook. Within that post, a Reddit user noticed the Duggars running the Facebook page mentioned they had 22 grandchildren. This indicates Anna gave birth.
“In the Duggar’s FB post about JB running for office, they said they had 22 grandchildren,” the Reddit user said. “That means Anna had the baby, right? When do you think the announcement with the name will be?”
” … [T]here won’t be an announcement,” another Reddit user guessed. “ANY direct publicity is opening up the floodgates.”
Some users suspect Anna still might be pregnant, though, as Jim Bob and Michelle could have counted Annabelle, Joy-Anna Duggar’s baby who was stillborn, in with the 22 grandchildren. “They could be counting Annabelle as the 22nd,” the Reddit user noted. “And I think they would do that because I’m sure Joy considers herself a mother of three, not two. So, the announcement will be a day or two after she is born.”
Can Josh Duggar’s children see him currently?
Josh Duggar’s children currently have strict rules around visitation. His six kids can see him as long as Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, is present. And additional reports suggest Anna spends a lot of time at Josh Duggar’s host family’s home. This may mean her family steps in to take care of their children, too.
“Anna is spending most of her time with Josh at the Rebers, and her family has stepped in to help raise all their kids,” an insider told The Sun. “She takes them to visit him or they are looked after while she’s there alone. Despite what he’s been charged with, she refuses to believe he’s guilty.”
Josh Duggar’s trial is set for Nov. 30, 2021.
