‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’: Ellen DeGeneres Got the Ages of Ashton Kutcher’s Children Totally Wrong

Ellen DeGeneres made it known she’s quite close with actor Ashton Kutcher, as the two are neighbors and have become quite friendly. And Kutcher has made multiple appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the past.

While visiting the talk show in 2018, the topic of Kutcher’s children with his wife, Mila Kunis, came up. And DeGeneres seemed confident that she knew the ages of the kids, but she got them totally wrong. Here’s what happened.

While many remember Kutcher and Kunis from That ’70s Show, they’re all grown up now — and the on-screen couple now have two children together. Their daughter, Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, was born on Oct. 1, 2014. And their son, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher, was born on Nov. 30, 2016.

The parents have since talked about what it’s like raising kids, too. “You think you know how much you can love another person, and then you have a child and you realize you didn’t know,” Kutcher once explained, according to HuffPost. “It’s infinitely rewarding.”

Of course, he couldn’t do it without Kunis. He truly admires her as a partner and a mother. “The most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner, Mila,” he said. “She’s the greatest mom. I go to work every day, and I come home and she’s perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing. And I know that something probably didn’t go amazing, but she never tells, it’s unbelievable. She’s incredible.”

Like most parents, Kutcher appears to love talking about his kids. And they were brought up when he visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018.

“So, Ashton and Mila, they’re so cute. They walk in the morning with their pajamas on and their dogs and their kids,” DeGeneres noted. And DeGeneres then continued on by asking Kutcher about his kids.

“Now, the daughter is 8, right?” she started. “Is she 8?”

“She’s 4,” Kutcher corrected. “She talks really good, though. I mean, she’s a real good talker.”

“She seems like she’s 8,” DeGeneres noted.

“She comes off as 8,” Kutcher added.

DeGeneres continued on to Kutcher’s son’s age. “And the young boy that never walks is how old?”

“He walks! He’s 2!” Kutcher exclaimed.

DeGeneres also didn’t think Kutcher’s 2-year-old son could walk

The conversation about Kutcher’s kids then moved on to his son who DeGeneres is convinced never walks.

“I have one of those hiking backpack things that I put him in the hiker to go down the beach so we can actually go down the beach,” Kutcher explained. “And then you came out and you were like, ‘Oh, does he walk?’ And I was like, ‘Yes, he walks.'”

“Because I had seen it five times,” DeGeneres noted. “I’d never seen him walk.”

“So now I take him out of the thing once we get to purview of your house, and I’m like, ‘Go, go, go. Run, little sucker.’ And I’m trying to dish him along so I don’t have to hear about it anymore,” Kutcher continued.

“Well, he should just walk more often,” DeGeneres joked.

While DeGeneres tried to justify why she didn’t know the ages of Kutcher’s kids, it’s clear the friends were able to joke and get past it. And we doubt DeGeneres will ever forget their ages now!
