‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’: Kylie Jenner Seemed Aggravated When Questioned About Her Relationship With Tyga
It’s hard to keep up with the romantic relationships within the Kardashian/Jenner family. We know Kylie Jenner has a daughter, Stormi, with rapper Travis Scott. While the two seem to have a good relationship, they’re reportedly not dating and simply co-parenting. And prior to Scott, Kylie was associated with rapper Tyga.
Kylie once visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2015, and she seemed mortified when Ellen DeGeneres wouldn’t stop questioning her about her and Tyga’s romance. Here’s what happened.
Kylie Jenner and Tyga had a questionable start to their relationship
Kylie and Tyga developed a close relationship when Kylie was alarmingly young. Cosmopolitan explains one of the first times Tyga and Kylie were seen together was when Kendall Jenner had her sweet 16 birthday party in 2011. Kylie was just 14 years old at the time.
Then, in 2014, Tyga celebrated Kylie’s 17th birthday with her. While they still haven’t confirmed any type of romance, Tyga didn’t waste time in ending his engagement with Blac Chyna, whom he has a child with. While Tyga and Kylie denied romance rumors all throughout 2014, everything came to the surface in 2015. By June 2015, the couple made a red carpet appearance together beside Kris Jenner.
It seems Kylie was reaping the benefits of being with Tyga, too. He bought her a Ferrari in August 2015 seemingly for her birthday. And they also made things official as soon as Kylie turned 18.
Kylie didn’t seem happy when Ellen DeGeneres had questions about the romance
The same year Jenner and Tyga made their relationship official, there seemed to be some trouble in paradise. TMZ reported Kylie left Tyga over something he “did,” though what occurred was never specified. And this gave DeGeneres plenty to talk about on her show when she welcomed Kylie.
While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Degeneres first questioned Kylie on why she bought a house when she’s just 18 years old.
“I needed — it’s the responsibility,” Kylie explained to DeGeneres. “It’s cool.”
“So you just wanted to be alone with Tyga?” DeGeneres said back.
“No!” Kylie denied.
“I don’t know what’s going on,” DeGeneres said. “All I hear is that you’re with Tyga, you’re not with Tyga ….”
“No, honestly people have it all wrong,” Kylie countered. And DeGeneres then encouraged her to set the record straight for the audience, as everyone wants the truth.
“We’re here for that reason,” DeGeneres tells the audience while encouraging loud applause.
“Stop!” Kylie shouted back. And once the audience settled, Kylie verified that she and Tyga were not broken up at the time. “We became best friends before anything happened, so I think that’s awesome.”
DeGeneres then recommended that Kylie “stay with” Tyga since he bought her a car.

It seems Kylie and Tyga weren’t meant to be. While there were plenty of allegations flying that Tyga was cheating on Kylie, that didn’t seem to spell doom. Instead, Kylie explained on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she wanted to experience the single life.
There was absolutely not one thing wrong with me and T,” Kylie said. “Him and I will always, always have a bond. There was no crazy fight. We just decided, well, I decided that I’m really young. I don’t want to look back five years from now and feel like he took something from me when he’s really not that type of person.”
Oddly enough, Kylie was seen with Scott just weeks later. As far as she and Tyga are concerned, it seems that ship sailed long ago.
