‘The Eternals’ Set Leak: Kit Harington Spotted Kissing This Co-Star
Game of Thrones alum Kit Harington has a new on-screen love interest. Harington, who is playing the part of Dane Whitman in The Eternals, was just caught kissing Gemma Chan on the set of Marvel’s latest blockbuster. While filming for The Eternals continues, here is everything we know about Harington’s upcoming film.

Over the weekend, photos from the set of The Eternals were leaked online. In one of the pics, Harington is shown locking lips with Chan as the two film scenes in London.
According to Page Six, Harington’s character also goes by the name of Black Knight and is romantically linked to Chan’s Sersi in the comics. Based on the leaked images, it seems like Marvel is following the comics when it comes to the Black Knight’s romance with Sersi.
Harington’s character is an old member of the Avengers and is widely recognized as Marvel’s best swordsman. The other images from the set show Harington and Chan walking in a field before embracing.
Chan was also seen doing some scenes on a wire, which is yet more confirmation that the superheroes in The Eternals have the ability to fly. Unfortunately, Harington and Chan were not in costumes, so it is possible that their storylines will take place in modern times.

Harington and Chan are not the only cast members of The Eternals who have been spotted on the set. A few months ago, photos surfaced of Angelina Jolie rocking a blonde wig.
Jolie is playing Thena in the film. In the comics, Thena is one of the leaders of the group of superheroes. Jolie’s scene looked like it was set in ancient times, so it is possible we see a flashback of her origins.
We have also seen some photos of Richard Madden as Ikaris. Marvel has characterized Ikaris as being “all-powerful” in the official synopsis, so it will be interesting to see how he stacks up to other characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Like Chan, Madden did some wire work on the set, which means Ikaris has the ability to fly, an attribute that most members of the team probably share.
Everything we know about ‘The Eternals’
Production on The Eternals is still underway, so it might be a while before Marvel releases any new information about the project.
So far, we know that the movie is being directed by Chloe Zhao and stars the likes of Jolie, Madden, Harington, Lauren Ridloff, and Kumail Nanjiani.
The film is an adaptation of the comics of the same name, which were created by Jack Kirby. The story follows a group of ancient beings who are known as the Eternals. The Celestials created the Eternals, who have secretly shared the planet with their long-time enemies, the Deviants.
The heroes who make up the Eternals are among Marvel’s most powerful characters. We still do not know who is playing the Deviants in the film, but all of the Eternals from the comics are expected to make an appearance.
The movie is also going to span several thousand years, though it is unclear how much of it will take place after the events in Avengers: Endgame.
Are ‘The Eternals’ connected to Thanos?
What is most interesting about the superheroes in The Eternals is their connection to Thanos (Josh Brolin). Thanos is actually the son of two Eternals and carries the same genes as the Deviants, though we do not know if this connection will be made in the movie.
This connection has sparked rumors that Thanos might be resurrected in a coming film, though that has not been confirmed by Marvel.
Whatever direction the movie takes, The Eternals should explore more of the cosmos in the MCU, just like Guardians of the Galaxy. If that holds true, then the movie will have a lasting impact on the MCU as Marvel gears up for Phase 4 and beyond.
The Eternals is due out in theaters on November 6. The next film in Marvel’s lineup is Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, which is set to open in theaters on May 1.
