Elle Fanning leads ‘The Girl From Plainville’ cast as Michelle Carter
23-year-old Elle Fanning (who portrays Michelle Carter) has previously portrayed lead roles in a few movies, including We Bought a Zoo (2011) and Maleficent (2014).
Her performance in Hulu’s The Great earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Mad Men’s Cara Buono and Unbelievable’s Kai Lennox star as her parents, Gail and David Carter, and Callie McClincy as the youngest daughter, Hayden.
Dear Evan Hansen star Colton Ryan appears as Conrad Roy III, who his family affectionately referred to as “Coco.”
The Roy family also includes Conrad Sr., portrayed by Peter Gerety, his wife Janice (Kristin Griffith), their son Conrad II, or Co (Norbert Leo Butz), his ex-wife Lynn (Chloë Sevigny), and their children, Coco’s two younger sisters, Sydney (Ella Kennedy Davis) and Paige (Leah Thompkins), inspired by his real-life siblings Camdyn and Morgan.
