The Playboy Mansion has fascinated many people for decades. Reports described the parties on the property to be “a little crazy,” and Elvis had a suite named after him. Viewers got to see what life was like for Hugh Hefner and his Playmates on reality TV.

In the 2000s, The Girls Next Door gave people an inside look. One of the stars was Holly Madison, and she was one of Hefner’s partners. She went on to continue her successful career after she left the show.

‘The Girls Next Door’ was all about Hugh Hefner and his girlfriends

The Girls Next Door is a reality series that Hefner helped create. The show centers around the lives of his girlfriends. They all reside in the Playboy Mansion in LA. The series first aired in 2005 and ran for six seasons.

In the beginning, the premise would have been about Hefner raising his son. People would have seen his daily life of helping his kid with his homework. However, Hefner was not fond of the idea and changed the focus toward his partners.

For the first five seasons, Hefner had three girlfriends in the limelight. Out of the three, Kendra Wilkinson became the biggest star. However, his relationship with all three of them eventually came to an end. The sixth season featured a new set of girlfriends, but fans got to see the previous ones return.

Throughout the show, various events took place in the famous mansion. Examples include the Fourth of July celebration and Fright Night. One appeal of the series is that viewers got to see what the parties were like inside the Playboy Mansion.

Holly Madison continued to be a star after the show ended

In 2009, The Girls Next Door concluded, and several of the women went on to do their own things. Some former viewers have wondered what they have been doing for the past decade. According to Us Weekly, Madison landed her own series soon after the show ended.

Madison’s spinoff show was Holly’s World, and it focused on her life and career. The show lasted for two seasons with 18 episodes, but she has had other television appearances. Madison was a competitor in the eighth season of Dancing With the Stars.

Madison also landed a minor role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Some people saw her performance in a burlesque show in Planet Hollywood’s Peepshow for multiple years. However, her career does not only involve performing in front of others.

In 2015, Madison ventured into the world of writing. She published a memoir titled Down the Rabbit Hole, and it is about her early life and adventures at the Playboy Mansion. She wrote a second memoir the following year. Currently, the star is a mother and has a net worth of $16 million
