‘The Good Place’: Have Any Cast Members Ever Dated in Real Life?
Every week The Good Place keeps us laughing while teaching us life lessons. Now, in its fourth and final season, we are all secretly hoping that Chidi (William Jackson Harper) and Eleanor (Kristen Bell) end up together. It’s not looking promising right now on-screen, so we want to know if they are together in real life.
We also would settle for Janet (D’Arcy Carden) and Jason (Manny Jacinto) as an off-screen couple. Let’s take a look and see if any of our favorite The Good Place characters are an item in real life.
Are ‘The Good Place’ stars Chidi Anagonye and Eleanor Shellstrop dating in real life?
In the reboot, when Eleanor realizes she is falling for Chidi, our hearts all melt. “You’re amazing,” she says and kisses him. After that, they were inseparable, and we saw Eleanor tell Chidi she loves him. The pair fell for each other in eight other reboots, but they have yet to connect in the current timeline. Could they be together in real life?
Sadly, Chidi and Eleanor are not together off-screen, but they have both found love. Frozen 2 star, Bell and fellow actor Dax Shepard married over 12 years ago. Their relationship has not always been perfect, but they share hilariously funny Instagram posts of their family life.
Bell and Shepard seem happy in posts, but they admit that marriage takes work. They attend couples therapy and spend time working on their relationship.
William Jackson Harper, on the other hand, is not married but is dating fellow actor, Ali Ahn. He recently confirmed rumors that the pair were dating, with his latest Instagram post. He captioned it, “Look at my lady. No seriously. Look at her. I mean…damn. Just…damn. Also, thanks to @brooksbrothers for the suit so I can stand next to her.” It sounds like Harper feels lucky to have found her.
‘The Good Place’ Cutest Couple: Are Janet and Jason Mendoza an item in real life?
The unlikely couple, Janet and Jason, make us laugh every week on The Good Place. It would be adorable if they were an item in real life, but unfortunately for us, they are not.
Carden is married to producer Jason Grant Carden. The couple met on a trip to Disneyland with mutual friends. They married in 2010 and relocated from New York City to Los Angeles in 2013.
Jacinto is not married but might be dating. He was rumored to be single until he posted several photos with the same girl. The captions both have a heart with no other explanation. No other details regarding who the mystery girl is are currently known, except that they do look pretty cute together.
What about Tahani Al Jamil? Could she be dating any ‘The Good Place’ costars?
Again, Tahani is not dating someone from the set, but Jameela Jamil has found love in real life. She is with singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer, James Blake, from London.
Blake is supportive of Jamil. He often visits her on set. On her last day of filming, he remained by her side until 2 a.m.
May 5, 2019, Blake and Jamil celebrated their fourth anniversary together. Jamil announced the milestone with a throwback photo of the pair compared to a new photo. She wrote, “4 years deep with this hilarious man.”
Although no The Good Place actors are together in real life, we are happy to hear that they have all found love. You can catch new episodes where at least Janet and Jason share a sweet romance on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. on NBC.
