The 2020 Oscar nominations are in, which means it’s time for viewers at home to get their ballots ready. If you’re hoping to pick the big winners during the ceremony on Feb. 9 but haven’t seen every film nominated, you’re in luck. While some of this year’s contenders are still in theaters, a number of nominated films are on Netflix. The streaming service racked up 24 nominations this year, more than any other company. We’ve put together a list of every 2020 Oscar-nominated film you can watch on Netflix.

‘The Irishman’

The Irishman didn’t lead the Oscar nominations pack this year — that honor goes to Joker — but Martin Scorsese’s latest film did garner 10 nominations, including best picture and best director. Joe Pesci and Al Pacino were both nominated in the best supporting actor category. The movie also received nominations for best adapted screenplay, best cinematography, best visual effects, best costume design, best production design, and best film editing. But there was one major snub for the Netflix original. Star Robert De Niro wasn’t nominated for best actor for his role as Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran.

‘Marriage Story’

Noah Baumbach’s Netflix film Marriage Story earned six Oscar nominations. In addition to best picture, Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson were nominated for best actor and best actress, respectively. Laura Dern was nominated for best supporting actress. The film also got nods in the best original screenplay and best original music score categories.

‘The Two Popes’

This Netflix movie about a meeting between Pope Benedict XVI and his eventual successor Pope Francis II earned three Academy Award nominations. Jonathan Pryce, who plays Pope Francis, is nominated for best actor, while Anthony Hopkins was recognized in the supporting actor category for playing Pope Benedict. It was also nominated for best adapted screenplay.

Klaus

Many were shocked when they learned that Frozen II had been shut out of the best animated feature category Academy Awards. But Disney’s loss may have been Netflix’s gain. Its holiday-themed flick Klaus is nominated in the category.

‘I Lost My Body’

Also nominated in the best animated feature category is I Lost My Body. This French film about a disembodied hand searching Paris for its missing body is streaming on Netflix. In May, director Jérémy Clapin’s full-length debut became the first animated feature to win the Critics Week award at Cannes.

‘American Factory’

Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground is behind the Netflix’s American Factory, which is nominated in the best documentary category. It’s about a Chinese company that moves into a vacant General Motors plant in Ohio, and the challenges that come with that transition.

‘The Edge of Democracy’

Also nominated for best documentary and streaming on Neftlix is The Edge of Democracy. Director Petra Costa looks at the current state of Brazilian politics and the conditions that contributed to the rise of right-wing populist president Jair Bolsonaro.

‘Life Overtakes Me’

Netflix subscribers can also stream Life Overtakes Me. This 40-minute film is about refugee children in Sweden who are suffering from a condition called resignation syndrome that causes them to fall into a coma-like state. It’s nominated in the documentary short subject category.

The Oscars air live Sunday, Feb. 9 at 8e/5p on ABC.
