The Kardashian-Jenner sisters announced that they will be shutting down their oh so popular apps in 2019. Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, & Kylie will no longer share be giving fans an intimate look at their lives on their apps beginning nex next year.
2019 hasn’t even started yet and it’s already going downhill.
We’ll no longer get an up-close look into the lives of our favorite sisters
Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner revealed this heartbreaking news to shut down their apps on Wednesday. The reason behind their decision is unclear but many can guess that having an app to run on top of other work responsibilities can become overwhelming.
Kim revealed the news on her website stating, ““We’ve had an incredible experience connecting with all of you through our apps these past few years but have made the difficult decision to no longer continue updating in 2019, we truly hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as we have, and we look forward to what’s ahead.”
The sisters launched their famous apps in 2015, sharing never before seen photos, cooking/dieting tips, and even special reveals of secret projects they were working on at the time.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan wanted to give fans an opportunity to experience special moments in their lives that were not shared on social media or their reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
This decision comes months after the closing of all DASH stores
The decision to end their apps comes months after the Kardashian sisters revealed they were closing all of their DASH clothing stores.
Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian decided to say goodbye to their DASH storefronts after being in business for 12 years.
Kim Kardashian revealed on her app, “After nearly 12 years, my sisters and I have decided to close the doors of our DASH stores. We opened our first store as a family in 2006 and since then we have made so many lifelong memories. From opening locations in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, to having our Dash Dolls spin-off show, it’s been such a huge part of our lives.”
Their apps made it so easy to be in the know of every detail and milestone in these reality stars’ lives, what are fans supposed to do now?
Kendall Jenner beat her sisters to the punch
This time last year, Kendall Jenner put an end to her app. Her app launch was not as successful as her sisters’ and decided to call it quits in order to focus more on her modeling career.
The rest of the sisters are following in Kenny’s footsteps now and found that uploading content on their apps regularly can be pretty daunting when you have many other responsibilities.
Fans were able to get up-close and personal
In the 3 years since their apps first launched, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters shared some personal details of their lives.
Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian shared a number of looks from unseen photoshoots as well as a few beauty products they planned on launching for their beauty lines.
Jenner was avid on sharing many instances of her personal life on her app, but put an end to that after intimate details of her relationship with then-boyfriend, Tyga, were uploaded to the app without her approval.
Khloe Kardashian shared the first looks of her daughter’s nursery as well as workout tips for pregnant and post-pregnancy mothers. She also shared her secret behind her aesthetically pleasing cookie jars (a tip I personally follow to this day).
Kourtney Kardashian shared her tips when it came to dieting and maintaining her slim physique.
The Kardashian-Jenner sister are just too busy
All of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters are extremely busy with other projects such as clothing lines, makeup companies, brand deals, and more importantly motherhood.
Even though fans are saddened to see these apps go, we’ll just have to be like everyone else and wait for our favorite Kardashian-Jenner to post intriguing content on their social media pages!
