‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is over

When Keeping Up With the Kardashians first aired in 2007, fans didn’t know much about the family other than their famous father Robert Kardashian and his role in the O.J. Simpson trial. Now, over a decade later, the Kardashians are a household name. The series has captured all of the big events in the Kardashian/Jenner lives, including weddings, breakups, divorces, and everything in between. Fans have watched the Kardashians grow up on their tv screens. Earlier this year, however, the family announced that their show was coming to an end.

“To our amazing fans -It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’” Kim Kardashian West wrote on Instagram.

“After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.

“Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives.”

She made sure to credit the show with giving her the platform that she has today.

“Without ‘Keeping Up with The Kardashians,’ I wouldn’t be where I am today,” she continued. “I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years. This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.”

The show’s last season will air in 2021.

The Kardashians’ new Hulu deal

The Kardashian women, Kim, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kris Kenner, and Kendall Jenner have all signed a multi-year deal to “create global content” exclusively for Hulu.

“The Kardashian Jenners will create new global content under a multi-year deal, to stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and in multiple territories on Star internationally,” Hulu’s Twitter account wrote.
