‘The Last Kingdom’: Fans React to the Official Look at Stiorra in Season 5: ‘Looks Like a Different Actress’
The hit series The Last Kingdom has finished filming in Hungary, which means we’re one step closer to seeing the final season. It’s bittersweet news for fans who love the show. Recently, the social media channels for the series shared official looks at some characters, including Stiorra, played by Ruby Hartley. What are fans saying? We have all the details.
Stiorra in ‘The Last Kingdom’
Fans will recall that Stiorra is the daughter of Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon), and his late wife, Lady Gisela (Peri Baumeister). She ends up going off with Sigtryggr (Eysteinn Sigurðarson), a Dane who took Winchester, as one of the conditions for him leaving Winchester. Although at first a hostage, she goes willingly to Daneland with him. It will be interesting to see her again in the all-new season.
Get an official look at Stiorra in season 5 of ‘The Last Kingdom’
The official social media channels have been sharing looks of some of the characters, including Uhtred and Brida (Emily Cox). Now it’s Stiorra’s turn. On June 24, fans received their first official glimpse of Stiorra in the new season. In the image, the name of the series can be seen in the upper left corner. Down below, a quote from Stiorra is added: “’We follow where the gods lead us, and the gods are sending me to Daneland.’ – Stiorra.”
In the image of Stiorra, she is looking off away from the camera with her hair done up and worn long down her back with what appears to be braids in it. She has an earring on, and she wears a cloak and ensemble in red and brown. Stiorra also has on a necklace as well. Other people can be seen in the background, and the sky looks like it’s getting dark.
The post is captioned: “The Gods are calling but is it wise for Stiorra to answer… #thelastkingdom #TLK5.” Ruby Hartley’s account is also tagged in the post as well.
Fans react
On the Reddit page for the series, a fan shared the image that same day, titling the post, “Just released S5 promo – ‘The Gods are calling but is it wise for Stiorra to answer…’”
Fans proceeded to react in the comments, and one fan thinks Stiorra looks just like Gisela, her mother. “She looks like her mum,” they said.
One fan replied to someone else’s comment saying, “Looks like a different actress!”
While another fan says they “love the styling.” “She looks amazing!” the fan added. “LOVE the styling. I can’t wait for S5 even though I’m devastated it’s the last season 😭”
One fan mentioned Stiorra’s necklace. “That looks like amber around her neck!” they said.

It will be nice to see Stiorra again in season 5 of The Last Kingdom. Hopefully, she will see her father again as well. We’ll have to see how things play out for her.
