‘The Last Kingdom’: See an Official Look at Finan in Season 5
Filming for the final season of The Last Kingdom has concluded in Hungary. The official social media channels have been sharing official looks at some of the characters recently, including Finan (Mark Rowley). We have all the details to know.
Get an official look at Finan in season 5 of ‘The Last Kingdom’
Finan is a warrior that is originally from Ireland in the series. He was a slave with the main character, Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon), when they first crossed paths, but they are eventually free. Together with Sihtric (Arnas Fedaravicius), they are the best of friends and are constantly by Uhtred’s side, which is great to see after all he’s been through.
On July 22, 2021, the official social media channels shared a look at Finan in the new season. Some fans have already gotten a glimpse of him and Sihtric’s looks in season 5 as director Jon East shared posts recently of the characters on Instagram.
In the official image of Finan, the name of the series is in the upper left corner. Finan can be seen in the middle with his hand out making a motion of some kind. He wears warrior attire with a green ensemble on with chainmail on his shoulder areas. He also wears a cross as well, and he appears to be looking rather serious in the post.
Below the image is a quote from Finan. “’Well that is definitely a bad sign…’ – Finan.”
The post is captioned: “The air has changed. #thelastkingdom #tlk5.” Mark Rowley’s account is tagged in the post as well. Over 31,000 people have already liked the post, and over 200 have commented on it.
See Uhtred’s look in season 5 of ‘The Last Kingdom’
On June 16, 2021, fans were able to see an official look at Uhtred as well via the official social media channels, including Instagram. The name of the series is in the top right of the post. Uhtred is in the middle, complete with his sword on his back. He is looking rather serious as he looks off. His hair, which is short on the sides and longer on the top, is up and back out of his face. It looks like he has a braid in it, and his hair seems a lot longer than the last time we saw Uhtred in season 4. He has on a long-sleeved shirt with warrior attire on.
At the bottom of the image, a quote from Uhtred can be seen. “’If I die, I will haunt you to the end of your days…’ -Uhtred,” it says.
Alexander Dreymon is tagged in the image on Instagram, and the post is captioned, “It’s time to look ahead… The journey continues but who will join the quest and who will fall? #thelastkingdom #TLK5.” Over 70,000 people liked the post and over 1,100 commented on it.
It’s great seeing these official looks of our favorite characters. We’ll have to see what else is shared before the series finally returns with the final season.
