Fans of The Last Kingdom can’t wait for season 4 to premiere this month. New images have been coming out of the upcoming season and fans can’t seem to get enough. Read on to see the newest photos of the crew having fun behind-the-scenes.
Season 4 of ‘The Last Kingdom’ gets a premiere date
There is now confirmation of a premiere date for season 4. Fans can expect to see more of Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) and all their other favorites when the series premieres with a new season on Sunday, April 26.
The official Twitter account for the series shared the news on Twitter with: “Shield walls at the ready, Arselings! Prepare for battle as Season 4 of The Last Kingdom comes to NETFLIX on Sunday 26th April #TheLastKingdom #Season4.”

The newest photos of The Last Kingdom crew will have you cracking a smile after clicking through them all. “There’s not a member of #TheLastKingdom family that wouldn’t tell you every day on set is one filled with laughter and fun (in between battles of course!),” the post is captioned.
The first image show Finan (Mark Rowley) and Osferth (Ewan Mitchell) goofing off. Finan is holding up a peace sign and they are both smiling for the camera while aboard a boat. Behind them are some of the crew.
In the next image, we see Beocca (Ian Hart) and Uhtred. Beocca is laughing a deep belly laugh while Uhtred is about to clap him on the back. The two could be filming, or just getting a laugh in-between takes.
The third image shows Lady Aelswith (Eliza Butterworth) striking a pose and a smile for the camera. Fans really seem to love the new photos of the series that can’t get here fast enough.
Fans react to the new photos
Numerous fans commented on the post in anticipation of the upcoming season. It’s clear the cast enjoys their job and they have fun with it when they can.
“Lovely cast 🤩 you really seem to enjoy your job,” an Instagram user wrote.
The cast and crew have fun when filming if these images are anything to go off of. “I love seeing that the cast has so much fun together,” said another fan.
One fan said they would like to be part of it all. “I wanna be a part of this group,” said an Instagram user.
The chemistry is clear and fans seem to really appreciate that. “Team chemistry goes a long way 💯 can’t wait for the new season,” the fan wrote.
“This makes the show all the more entertaining because you know they actually really like one another,” someone else said about the chemistry in the images.
Numerous fans of the series want to know when the trailer will be dropping since the show is so close to premiering. Hopefully the new season is everything fans are hoping it will be.
