Who has ‘The Masked Singer’ revealed so far?

Performances from the first night showed fans that the series isn’t holding anything back this season. That doesn’t mean there weren’t eliminations, though.

During the first week, audiences had to say goodbye to the Octopus, Mother Nature, and the Pufferfish. The Octopus was the first sent home and revealed to be Los Angeles Laker Dwight Howard. Fans then saw Mother Nature revealed to be Independence Day star Vivica A. Fox. Panelists and the audiences alike were shocked to find out that Grammy-award-winning songstress Toni A. Braxton was behind the mask of the Pufferfish.

The second week of episodes had even more eliminations. The Dalmatian was the contestant with the lowest amount of votes, and he was forced to take off his mask. The Masked Singer revealed hip-hop superstar Tyga as the performer behind all of the Dalmatian’s slick moves. The Baby was a wild card contestant and performed the theme song from The Flintstones and mentioned a house party on eight wheels. When the Baby took off his mask, audiences saw Larry the Cable Guy.

What were some of the clues for the Banana Split?

The Banana Split has been an exciting contestant to watch because they’ve performed as a duo. This has been a notable change in previous “duo costumes.” Before, the two weren’t able to split apart from one another on stage.

The female portion of the twosome, dressed as Ice Cream, sang A Million Songs and The Greatest Showman while the Banana stayed behind and played the piano. In a sneak peek of clues, fans saw three red dice rolled, and each one landed on the number two. Fans also saw an image of a silver medal as part of their clue package.

‘The Masked Singer’ revealed the Banana Split to be Katharine McPhee and David Foster

Some viewers thought this was one of the tougher contestants to guess. However, the clues were there the entire time. Katharine McPhee was runner-up on her season of American Idol, which was what the silver medal was referring to, and the red dice were a hint at her and David Foster’s son. He was born on Feb. 2, 2021. That was what the three separate number twos were hinting at.

Foster might have been harder to guess because audiences never heard him sing, but he did answer a few questions. Panelist Ken Jeong got it right when he thought it might be McPhee and Foster. Jeong is on a roll this season so far, and we can’t wait to see more.
