And Just Like That… Season 3 is in production. While the cast and crew are keeping the season’s storylines under wraps, it’s nearly impossible for guest stars and new additions to the cast to stay secret for long. Because the series is filmed on the streets of New York City, viewers are kept in the loop about casting rumors. So far, we’ve learned of a few new castings. More are sure to pop up as filming progresses.

Rosie O’Donnell announced her involvement in May

Rosie O’Donnell is involved with And Just Like That… Season 3. The actor and TV personality announced her involvement via Instagram in May by sharing a snapshot of her script. According to her post, O’Donnell will play a character named Mary. She will appear in at least the first episode of the season.

O’Donnell was spotted in late May in Times Square filming scenes with Cynthia Nixon, who portrays Miranda Hobbes. She has not been spotted filming scenes since. That doesn’t mean her involvement is limited, though.

Jenifer Lewis was spotted on the set of ‘And Just Like That…’

Rosie O’Donnell’s appearance on the set of And Just Like That… Season 3 might not have shocked fans, but the appearance of Jenifer Lewis did. Lewis had not been publicly attached to the project when she surfaced on the streets of New York City with Nicole Ari Parker earlier this month. Parker portrays documentarian Lisa Todd Wexley in the Sex and the City reboot

While it is unclear what role Lewis might play in the series, it’s exciting to see her back to acting. Lewis’s casual stroll down the street with Parker shows that the Black-ish star is doing well after a near-fatal accident in 2022. Lewis was vacationing in Tanzania when she accidentally stepped off a balcony and fell 10 feet into a ravine. She required surgery and had to learn to walk again. Lewis recounted the harrowing experience during an April appearance on The Tamron Hall Show.

Charisma Carpenter was spotted hanging out with the cast

Charisma Carpenter has sparked rumors that she, too, will be appearing in And Just Like That… Season 3. Earlier this month, Carpenter stopped by the set of And Just Like That… for a visit. The Angel star didn’t appear to be acting with the cast, but she did connect with Kristin Davis, as well as members of the production team.

While Carpenter wasn’t seen acting with the cast, an insider insists it is as good as a done deal. According to an insider who spoke with Page Six, actors are generally only asked to visit the set if they are directly involved with the production. Per the unnamed source, Carpenter’s mere presence on the set means she is likely to appear.

It will be a while before we learn if Carpenter is actually involved in the series. We also won’t know how Rosie O’Donnell and Jenifer Lewis’ characters will factor into the series anytime soon. While And Just Like That… Season 3 is in production, it isn’t slated to premiere on Max until 2025. An official release date has yet to be announced.
