That’s in line with the previous season which also had 10 episodes.
Plus, The Night Agent Season 2 is continuing with longer episodes, clocking in anywhere from 45-60 minutes each. Needless to say, there will be plenty of The Night Agent to watch when the new season drops (more on that later).
What is season 2 of ‘The Night Agent’ about?
Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) is back in The Night Agent Season 2, and things aren’t any less complicated—or action-packed—this time around. He’s not sitting in the White House basement waiting for the phone to ring. Now the former FBI agent has the opportunity to become an official Night Agent after saving the president last season, according to Tudum.
As Peter explores the Night Agent world he discovers more and more danger, leading him to trust no one. Not even his love interest Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan). Fans of the series got a quick glimpse of this in the trailer, seen above, when Peter told Rose he “cannot trust anyone” to which she replied, “Except me, right?”
Based on the novel by author Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent Season 2 has Peter meeting others in the Night Action organization, including Alice (Brittany Snow) and Catherine (Amanda Warren). Then there’s the question of whether or not there’s a mole making ops go bad and putting Peter’s life in danger.
When does the new ‘Night Agent’ season premiere?
Great news, Night Agent fans. The Netflix original series is returning very soon—just mere days away at the time of writing. Season 2 begins streaming on Jan. 23, 2025. (3 a.m. EST to be exact.)
