The Outrageous Fan Reactions to Ellen Degeneres Kissing Jennifer Aniston on TV
When Jennifer Aniston visited The Ellen Degeneres Show, things got hot and heavy, quickly. Some fans think it’s hysterical, but others are not happy. Viewers were alerted of the kiss the night before the show aired, by Ellen Degeneres. She posted a photo of the kiss on her Instagram to tease everyone. Read on to find out what everyone is saying about the now-famous kiss.
How did the kiss between Aniston and Degeneres happen?
Aniston began asking Degeneres about her recent on-air kiss with Howard Stern. Jennifer asked Degeneres, “When was the last time you kissed a guy?”
Degeneres replied, “Why is everyone so shocked? I kiss guys, I kiss guys like that, I don’t make out with guys, but I kiss guys on the lips. When was the last time you kissed a girl on the lips?”
We could see where this was going. Next, Aniston answered her kiss question after some thought, “I don’t kiss girls on the lips, no.”
Then Degeneres leaned in and planted one on her. The audience was in an uproar of laughter and cheering during and after the kiss.
Aniston surprisingly told her, “You have very soft lips,” to which Ellen said, “So do you, that’s why I do what I do.” Again the audience was cracking up.

Many fans are concerned about what Ellen’s wife, Portia de Rossi might think
One of the main comments that fans on Instagram keep asking is, “Does Portia know?” Portia de Rossi and Degeneres married in 2008.
Actress, Heather Dubrow wrote, “You’re kissing a LOT of people lately @theellenshow. Portia has a very intact ego!” Dubrow is referring to the Howard Stern kiss, of course.
Many others added their input, saying, “Portia is going to be mad!”
As worried as fans are, it doesn’t seem like the small kiss between Aniston and Degeneres is going to break up their marriage. Just two weeks ago, de Rossi and Degeneres celebrated, “Gorillapalooza” which is an effort to help fund Ellen’s mission to support gorilla conservation efforts.
The two are both very happily married. De Rossi’s idea for Ellen’s 60th birthday spawned this “Gorillapalooza. De Rossi told Extra at the event that “I didn’t know what else to get her! I wanted to give her something really significant for her 60th birthday that kinda tied her past to her future.”
Although fans are worried about her marriage, we don’t think Ellen is.
The other more ridiculous reaction to the kiss involves George W. Bush
Recently, Degeneres received an excessive amount of complaints about sitting next to George W. Bush at a Dallas Cowboys football game. Fans of The Ellen Degeneres Show were outraged that she would enjoy the company of a man who is has demonstrated conservative anti-LGBTQ politics.
Many Facebook users wrote comments similar to this one, “Anything for people to forget the George Bush thing, huh?”
Viewers believe that Degeneres is kissing people on her show so that fans forget about the Bush incident.
In reality, Degeneres already spoke on-air about the Bush debacle saying, “Just because I don’t agree with someone on everything does not mean I’m not going to be friends with them. When I say be kind to one another, I don’t mean only the people that think the same as you do; I mean be kind to everyone.”
Although some fans believe she kissed Aniston for the wrong reasons, many others just enjoy the hilarious television that Degeneres is making.
