‘The Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond’s Best Cheesecake Recipes
The Pioneer Woman show features plenty of mouth-watering ideas for dinner, dessert, and breakfast. One recipe Ree Drummond is known for is her delicious cheesecake. Here are some of Drummond’s best cheesecake recipes.
Ree Drummond’s chocolate cheesecake
Drummond loves to make chocolate cheesecake with cherries on top for her father. During an episode of The Pioneer Woman, Drummond stopped by her father’s house to drop off a special meal for him and his wife, Patsy. Drummond’s father loves chocolate, so she made a dark chocolate cheesecake.
“I made this very small chocolate cherry cheesecake for my dad and Patsy recently, and Todd and I delivered it, along with soup, salad, and biscuits,” wrote Drummond on her Instagram page. “I had to lead this post with a pic of the dessert because chocolate is all that really matters to my dad anyway. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree on that one.”
Some of the ingredients you’ll need for this chocolate cheesecake are chocolate graham crackers, salted butter, cream cheese, and cherry pie filling. You can find the complete ingredients list and directions here.
Ree Drummond’s blackberry cheesecake squares
Drummond starts by making the pie crust. She uses a package of vanilla wafers instead of graham crackers for the crust. Drummond says the wafers are a little sweeter and “a little bit more of a treat.” Next, she adds about ½ cup of pecans and crushes the pecan and vanilla wafer mixture in a food processor. Then, she pulses the machine while adding one stick of melted butter. She says the butter helps the crust come together. Next, Drummond pours the crumbs into a foil pan sprayed with cooking spray.
For the filling, Drummond uses three 8-ounce packages of cream cheese. She makes sure the cream cheese sits at room temperature for a few minutes so that it gets soft. She adds cream cheese, 1 ½ cups of sugar, 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla, 4 eggs, and ½ cup of sour cream to a mixer. After mixing the ingredients, she pours it over the pie crust. Ree Drummond’s burnt cheesecake with blackberries
Drummond says this recipe will “change your cheesecake life.” After making this cake, she declares she will never make crust on a cheesecake again.
Drummond’s burnt cheesecake with blackberries eliminates the crust. The cheesecake serves as the crust. Some of the ingredients you’ll need are 5 eggs, a splash of vanilla, and 2 cups of heavy cream. Drummond says she likes this recipe because “there is almost no effort involved; just mixing.”
Ree Drummond’s white chocolate mini cheesecake
For this recipe, you’ll need chocolate graham crackers, ½ cup of sugar, ½ cup of melted butter, softened cream cheese, 2 eggs, a splash of vanilla, caramel sauce, and chocolate chips.
Drummond starts by placing chocolate graham crackers in a standing mixer and then pulsing them until they have a crumb-like consistency. She then adds ½ cup of sugar and ½ cup of melted butter. Drummond says the butter helps keep the mixture moist and allows it to become crisp while it’s baking in the oven. Next, Drummond places roughly two tablespoons of the mixture into paper muffin cups.
