The Pioneer Woman cookies and cream iced latte will start your day off right. Here’s more about Ree Drummond’s love of coffee and how to make her delicious latte.

Ree Drummond is a big coffee fan

Drummond is known for her love of butter, but she’s also quite fond of coffee. In her book Frontier Follies, she admits she loves coffee so much she can’t even bear to give it up for Lent. If you’re not familiar, Lent is the 40 days leading up to Easter. During this time, some Christians give up something they love as a way to remember Jesus’ sacrifice when he fasted for 40 days and was tempted by Satan in the wilderness. This observance is also a way to remember His sacrifice on the cross.

The Accidental Country Girl says coffee is the first thing she reaches for when she wakes up in the morning, so there’s no way she could give it up. For her, coffee is necessary to get through the day. She even goes as far as saying she’s “addicted.” (Here are some of Drummond’s best coffee recipes.)

Drummond describes the cookies and cream iced latte as a “Heavenly concoction.” This coffee drink gets its delicious flavor from the crumbled Oreo cookies and a generous helping of cream. For an added kick, there’s also a shot of espresso.

If you’re ever at The Pioneer Woman Mercantile, you’ll be able to find this iced latte on the menu item. The Pioneer Woman Instagram page says this drink is almost like having “dessert for breakfast.” For the full ingredients and directions, head over to The Pioneer Woman website. Drummond also has a good recipe for plain iced coffee on the Food Network website.

The Pioneer Woman coffee line

Since Drummond enjoys coffee so much, it’s no surprise she has her own line of coffee (one thing that is surprising is that Ladd Drummond has never had coffee before). Last year, she partnered with Zavida Coffee Roasters. There are plenty of flavors to choose from, including hazelnut vanilla, pecan pie, cinnamon roll, and pumpkin spice.

There are also non-flavored options to choose from (breakfast roast, medium roast, and dark roast). If you’d like to try some of the coffee, you’re in luck. The Food Network star’s beverage can be purchased at Amazon and Walmart. You can also purchase Pioneer Woman coffee at The Mercantile.

“Mornings come very early on our ranch,” said Drummond in a statement introducing her new line of coffee. “Coffee is one of my favorite things about rising and shining, and I love to sip it all day. My coffee line with Zavida Coffee Roasters includes both high-quality coffee beans and single-serve cups in both flavored and non-flavored blends that I think you will absolutely love!”

Charles Litterst, Chairman at Zavida Coffee Roasters, says The Pioneer Woman coffee can be consumed either hot or cold. “At Zavida, we’re all about great tasting coffee–and we’re excited to bring our passion for combining the world’s best coffees with unique flavors to the Pioneer Woman brand,” says Litterst in a statement. “Our team crafted these blends to be enjoyed both hot and cold-brewed, so Ree’s fans can indulge in her favorite treats one steamy (or iced) cup at a time.”
