‘The Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond Says You Must Make These Recipes
The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond told her blog readers she has tons of recipes stored in her website archives. Here are six recipes she recommends trying.
1. Restaurant Style Salsa
Adding a bit of salsa is a great way to spice up a dish. Drummond says her recipe for restaurant style salsa is so good you’ll want to make gallons of it. “I know I sometimes casually toss around phrases like ‘the best ever,’ but this salsa truly is the best salsa in the universe. Addictive and perfect! You will make it by the gallon,” she wrote on The Pioneer Woman blog.
2. Drip Beef, Two Ways
If you’ve followed Drummond, you know she’s a big fan of beef (and butter). So, it’s no surprise she has a beef recipe on her list. Drummond said on her blog that a beef-based meal makes her happy. “Gimme a pot of shredded meat, a toasted roll, and juice to dip it in and I’m a happy camper,” said Drummond.
3. Shrimp Quesadillas
If you’re looking to make a meal for a casual get-together, Drummond recommends shrimp quesadillas. She says she loves quesadillas, but her all-time favorite is shrimp quesadilla. “I’ve made no secret of the fact that I am obsessed with quesadillas of any kind, and this is probably my most favorite variety,” Drummond said.
4. Fig-Prosciutto Pizza
If you’re looking for a good pizza recipe, look no further than Drummond’s fig-prosciutto pizza. At the time, Drummond said she hadn’t made pizza in a while, but her first pizza after a long break was going to be this one. “You’ve got to try this, no matter how weird the combo sounds. It’s magical and it works,” she told her Pioneer Woman readers.
5. Chipotle Steak Salad
Why make a plain salad when you can have chipotle steak salad? “A good, basic salad with warm, medium-rare sliced steak and a spicy-creamy dressing. Sweet dreams are made of this!” Drummond exclaimed. If you’re looking for another exciting salad, Drummond also posted her recipe for buffalo chicken salad. “Everything that’s wonderful about Buffalo wings, but in salad form. The best of both worlds!” said Drummond.
6. Patty Melts
Drummond loves patty melts just as much as she loves quesadillas. She said she gets weak for this recipe. “I have almost the same level of weakness for patty melts that I have for quesadillas—and if you try this one, you’ll feel the same way. Tremendously satisfying!”
