‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’: PK Kemsley Bothered by Dorit Kemsley’s Perception of His Alcoholism
PK Kemsley and Dorit Kemsley looked like the reality TV couple that would keep their separation and eventual divorce relatively quiet. Apparently, looks can be deceiving. The couple’s separation is playing out on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and PK Kemsley isn’t thrilled with the things he’s seeing his estranged wife say about him and his relationship with alcohol. PK recently sat down for a podcast interview and really ripped Dorit and her perception of their relationship issues apart. He insists she has it all wrong.
PK Kemsley says Dorit Kemsley has it all wrong
PK Kemsley appeared on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast recently to discuss the portrayal of the breakdown of his marriage. He discussed his sobriety journey and his alcoholism before taking a swipe at his soon-to-be-ex, Dorit Kemsley. PK insists that his estranged wife is taking credit for things she did not do. The elder Kemsley pointed out that his former partner talked about his DUIs, financial troubles, and issues with gambling and alcohol as if she had been around to help him through it all. He insists many of the problems she cited occurred before they got together.
PK is also angry about how Dorit is speaking about his alcoholism. The talent manager insists he’s been sober for over a year. While he seems to admit that he is a problem drinker during the chat, he disagrees with Dorit’s assessment of how significant a role his drinking played in the demise of their union. PK insists the alcoholism was a “symptom” and not the “cause” of their separation. He seems to think his drinking had little to do with their breakup. She believes it had everything to do with the split.
Are PK Kemsley and Dorit Kemsley divorced?
While PK Kemsley and Dorit Kemsley are openly discussing their separation, they are not yet divorced. In fact, neither of them has filed, but according to insiders, that is coming soon. An Insider speaking with the U.S. Sun claims Dorit is ready to file for divorce after the months-long separation. Still, no paperwork has been drawn up.
PK and Dorit Kemsley announced their split in May 2024, but neither appeared in a rush to file for divorce. In fact, many The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans assumed the duo were exploring a trial separation and would get back together eventually. The current season of the reality TV series, Dorit’s thoughts, and PK’s recent musings make that seem less and less likely.
Before any divorce is finalized, the duo will have plenty of issues to work out. They currently share two children, Jagger, 10, and Pheonix, 8. Custody and child support are likely to factor into their divorce proceedings if they happen. Their finances are likely to be a sticking point, too.
