The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans won’t get to watch a reunion special, but the season won’t end with the finale. Instead of a reunion special, Bravo has devised an alternative plan to close out the awkward and tense season. It is happening sooner rather than later.

Bravo reportedly filmed a watch party special to close out ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ season 14

Bravo’s plans to close out The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 have been revealed. The season will end with a special watch party episode. According to The Hollywood Reporter, crews were on hand in Towaco, New Jersey, at a steakhouse to film the cast as they watched a screener of the final episode. While the publication didn’t note which steakhouse the special was filmed at, fans quickly assumed that the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey likely converged on Rails Steakhouse, where several pivotal moments from the show were filmed.

According to the publication, the entire cast was in the same building, but Bravo separated them. Melissa Gorga was set up in a room with castmates Danielle Cabral, Margaret Josephs, and Rachel Fuda. Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin were seated in a different space. Dolores Catania, who has managed to stay astonishingly neutral amid the drama, is said to have moved between the two spaces.

The decision to separate the cast was made to accommodate Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice. The dueling sisters-in-law refuse to be in the same room with each other. The individual rooms also manage to keep Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin separate. Cabral and Aydin don’t have nearly as much bad blood between them as Giudice and Gorga, but their season 14 feud provided much of the drama for the season. There is rumored to be a violent ending between the two during the season 14 finale, as well.

When does the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ special air?

While we have yet to determine how many parts the upcoming The Real Housewives of New Jersey special will be, it will begin airing one week after the finale. The explosive and reportedly violent finale for season 14 is set to premiere Aug. 4.
