‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Conspiracy Theory: Season 14 Was Teresa Giudice’s Campaign for Her Own Reality TV Show
The fate of The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast remains unknown months after the season 14 finale aired on Bravo. Several cast members have openly discussed how they would feel to be booted from the series. Teresa Giudice, traditionally the most outspoken of the bunch, has remained relatively quiet on the matter. Her silence has led to a fan theory that Giudice orchestrated much of the drama to garner her own show. There is plenty of evidence to support the theory.
Fans theorize that Teresa Giudice might be interested in a solo show
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s family drama led to a fractured and frankly uncomfortable season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The tension was so thick that fans had a hard time watching the season. By the end of it, Bravo executive Andy Cohen suggested a big change was needed. Initially, fans believed either Giudice or Gorga would be booted from the show, but now, some fans believe Giudice had other plans all along.
While Giudice and Gorga’s drama divided the cast, this might not have been bad for Giudice. At the very least, it could have been part of a plan. We think she might have orchestrated the drama within the friend group to prove just how much attention she garners as a solo star.
The drama of season 14 isn’t the only hint that Giudice might have been hoping for a solo show. Teresa’s daughters took centerstage more often in the series’ most recent season, too. Some fans believe that Giudice lobbied to have Gia and Milania Giudice featured more prominently to prove their personal family dynamic is interesting enough to lead a show.
The theory has some evidence to back it up. Still, Bravo nor Giudice have commented on the possibility of a solo venture. However, Giudice suggested she’d be up for whatever Bravo had in store. Before the season finale, she made it clear that her loyalty lay with the network, as well. That might have been a calculated move, too.
The big question is, would fans watch it?
While Giudice made filming untenable, her drama still brought in viewers. In fact, many The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans tuned in just to see what Giudice and her divisive husband, Luis Ruelas, would get up to. Giudice might have just as many enemies as fans, but it’s hard to deny everyone’s eyes are trained on her. Bravo could certainly see that as an asset moving forward.
So, would fans watch it?The Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers are split on whether they would sit down and watch the Giudice/Ruelas family dynamic play out on screen. Still, plenty of people would watch it if only to see the couple’s questionable connection splinter. Giudice and her family would likely draw enough viewers for at least a few seasons.
