‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ Alum Jill Zarin Is Still Open to Reality TV Jobs, Says Boyfriend Would Be ‘TV Platinum’
Jill Zarin has spent the years since her run on The Real Housewives of New York City building businesses, continuing her charity work, and managing a hectic schedule. While she’s experienced ups and downs since her tenure ended, she appears largely happy with her life. That doesn’t mean she wouldn’t entertain a return to reality TV if given the chance. In fact, Jill Zarin is open to the idea of a reality TV return if the stars aligned.
Jill Zarin would be willing to return to reality TV
While Zarin seems more than happy with her life away from Bravo, she’s not against returning to reality TV. During a recent chat with The Cut, Zarin shared a lot about her life and how good a fit it would be for reality TV.
She told the publication that she’s always open to returning to TV, but she would want to take her family with her. Zarin, who lost her husband, Bobby Zarin, to cancer in 2018, is dating again. She insists her boyfriend would be “TV platinum.” Zarin thinks fans would be interested in her interactions with her daughter, Ally Shapiro, too. She insists she and Ally are as close as ever, especially as they navigate wedding planning.
Zarin began dating Gary Brody in mid-2018, about six months after Bobby Zarin’s death. She told Bravo that her late husband was adamant that she move on and find love again. Zarin was married to Bobby Zarin from 2000 until he died in 2018. She was previously married to Steven Shapiro.
She would have one requirement for joining another show
Jill Zarin seems open, even enthusiastic, about the idea of returning to reality TV at some point. Despite no ongoing public negotiations with a network, she even appears to have the premise mapped out. Still, she does have some boundaries.
During her chat with The Cut, Zarin insisted that she would never work on a reality TV show where she didn’t have control over the final product again. She seems to have some thoughts on what network she wouldn’t work with, too. Zarin has closed the door on Bravo completely. If she wants to make her reality TV dreams a reality, she’ll need to find a new network to take a chance on her and her family. A streaming service provider might be a good fit for her.
