Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are constantly being followed by photographers, and everything they do is scrutinized by the media. This can’t be easy on Harry, and Meghan knows that as well. At times, the excessive amount of media attention is difficult to handle. So, what is the simple way that Meghan helps Prince Harry deal with too much media attention?

Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made an appearance at WE Day, and fans were simply delighted. WE Day is an event that encourages positive change in communities, which is an initiative that is close to the hearts of both Harry and Meghan. Harry made a very moving speech, saying that he knows how the world can be “challenging,” talking about activism and mental health issues, and also calling the current generation the “most engaged generation in history.”

Meghan Markle’s favorite quote

While on stage, Harry told fans that their “role is to shine the light” before sharing one of his wife’s favorite quotes by Martin Luther King, Jr., which says, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” He revealed that Meghan reminds him of this quote quite often as a way of helping him deal with too much attention from the media in his life. It was a wonderful surprise when Meghan later joined Harry on stage. Royal fans can agree that Harry, along with Meghan, is an inspiration to everyone.

Why Harry struggles with media attention

The excessive amount of attention that Harry receives on a daily basis is overwhelming in many ways. As the world knows, Harry lost his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997 when he was only 12 years old, when she was tragically killed in a car accident in Paris. Harry and his brother, Prince William, have never kept quiet about the fact that they were, and still are, extremely resentful of the many photographers who were constantly following Diana. They know that she was being followed on the night of the accident, and it caused the driver of the car she was in to lose control, resulting in the fatal crash.

Meghan is wonderful at helping Harry

Meghan completely understands just how difficult too much media attention can be, especially for Harry. She encourages Harry to do what he can to make the world a better place. This was something that was evident in his WE Day speech. Harry is not shy about letting the world know that Meghan has been a positive influence on his life. In fact, he seems to feel empowered by her more and more as time goes on. She reminds Harry that media attention and negativity can be difficult. However, he needs to stay strong and stand for what he believes in and cares about. This helps him deal with the hardest parts of his life.

Meghan’s look for the event

The crowd was overjoyed to see the Duchess of Sussex join her husband on stage at the event. She stunned in a casual look that consisted of black pants, a black shirt, and a lovely blue blazer. Meghan wore her dark hair in loose waves around her face. She also wore a necklace by Jennifer Meyer that she recently received at her New York City baby shower.

We can certainly all agree that the Duke and Duchess are a wonderful influence on the world.
