Mark the calendar because Rogen’s new show is coming out soon. The Studio premieres on March 26, 2025. According to an Apple TV+ press release with details on the show’s release, the first two episodes will begin streaming on premiere day. (That’s less than two weeks away at the time of writing.) After that, one episode will drop every Wednesday on Apple TV+ all the way to May 21, 2025. 

Rogen directed every episode of The Studio alongside his childhood best friend and longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg, who is also a co-creator and producer on the show.

The Studio’s logline reads: “Seth Rogen stars as the newly appointed head of a movie studio. Desperate for celebrity approval, he and his executive team at Continental Studios must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant.”  

The streamer’s press release also included more details about what’s to come on The Studio. Rogen’s character, Matt Remick, has to navigate “infighting,” “insecurities,” “narcissistic artists,” and “corporate overlords.” All the while there’s an undercurrent of “never-ending panic” that could end with “glittering success or career-ending catastrophe.” 

“As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.” 

How many episodes are in ‘The Studio’ Season 1? When do they begin streaming?

The first installment of The Studio has 10 episodes total. Each one is, according to The Hollywood Reporter, 30 minutes long. Viewers can expect “A-list cameos in every episode,” per the streamer’s press release.

Don’t forget about the show’s star-studded ensemble cast, featuring Golden Globe winner Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders. Major recurring guest stars include Emmy winner Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, and Dewayne Perkins.
