Michael B. Jordan is smitten with his girlfriend Lori Harvey, and he isn’t afraid to show the world just how strong his feelings for her are.
In a new interview, the actor briefly touched up his and Harvey’s relationship, sharing the sweet reason he decided to publicize their love on social media, despite his very private lifestyle.

Jordan and Harvey first sparked romance rumors in November 2020 after they were spotted stepping off a plane together in Atlanta over Thanksgiving.
A month later, the pair further fueled dating speculations when they headed to the ski slopes in Utah for a wintry getaway while ringing in the New Year.
It wasn’t long after that the couple finally confirmed their relationship by sharing steamy photos of them together on Instagram.

Although the couple has been showing off their love for each other on social media since becoming Instagram official, they’ve still kept a tight lip on their budding romance.
However, that recently changed as the Black Panther star just opened up about his relationship with Steve Harvey’s step-daughter.
While speaking with People, Jordan briefly touched up his and Harvey’s romance. Though he’s always been private about his personal life, the actor revealed that he wanted to celebrate the love he shares with Harvey, which is why he decided to go public with their relationship.
“I’m still private, and I want to protect that, but it just felt like it was a moment of just wanting to put it out there and move on,” he told the publication. “I am extremely happy.”
Over the last few months, Jordan and Harvey haven’t shied away from sharing various PDA-filled photos on Instagram and certainly haven’t held back from showing the world just how much they mean to each other.
“I think when you get older, you feel more comfortable about the [public nature] of the business that we’re in,” Jordan continued. “So for me, it was a moment to, I guess, take ownership of that and then get back to work.”

Though Harvey has yet to address her relationship with Jordan publicly, she has shared plenty of lovey-dovey photos of them together on her Instagram.
Not only did she upload sweet birthday tributes to the Just Mercy star in honor of his birthday back in February, but the model has also had plenty of flirty exchanges with her beau on Instagram.
While it seems that she’s doesn’t have a problem showcasing their budding romance online, insiders previously reported that Harvey was “hesitant” at first to go public with their relationship.
“[Lori] is hesitant to feed into the attention,” a source told HollywoodLife earlier this year. “That’s not to say she will never post about him, but she has been hesitant because she knows from experience what happens. It’s actually not hard for her to keep it off social because she has no problem moving in silence.”
Now that she’s shared glimpses of her and Jordan’s relationship, it seems Harvey has gotten comfortable showcasing their romance on social media!
