‘The Ultimatum’: Lauren Answers Why She Didn’t Get a Bachelorette Party Like Alexis
The Ultimatum Season 1 had multiple stars walk away. But only one got to return later in the season. Lauren Pounds answered why Alexis Maloney came back for a bachelorette party, but she was nowhere to be found.
Alexis Maloney got a bachelorette party on ‘The Ultimatum’
Alexis Maloney struggled to find a trial husband on The Ultimatum. Meanwhile, April Melohn picked Alexis’s boyfriend, Hunter Parr, for her trial husband. Hunter announced to everyone that he wanted to marry Alexis instead. He got down on one knee, and she said yes.
Nate Ruggles also struggled to figure out who he wanted to pick. After multiple women picked someone else, he decided to propose to his girlfriend, Lauren, and she said yes.
Both couples left the show. But Alexis was brought back to have a bachelorette party with the cast. She also asked the hard questions about their relationships. However, the one female cast member who was missing was Lauren.
Why Lauren Pounds didn’t return to ‘The Ultimatum’
Fans had to wait for the reunion to see Lauren and Nate again. Lauren answered on Your Poor Dad podcast why she didn’t have a bachelorette party too.
“That’s a good question. I have no idea how to answer that. I wasn’t invited,” Lauren told the hosts. “That’s more outside of someone like Alexis or Hunter deciding,” Nate added.
“It was up to the producer,” Lauren said. “I think that once they saw that we just didn’t really trust in their experience that they were like ‘Oh, get ’em out of here.’ And so I think that it was very intentional to like not tell us that there was gonna be a bachelorette or invite us back or anything cause they were just like ‘Alright, you guys said that you don’t trust in this process so get out.'”
She later said it was “understandable.” Nate then talked about how fans can’t believe everything that’s on the show.
“Reality shows are storylines,” Nate said. He later said, “If you think that you’re seeing what anyone on a reality show actually is like, you’re totally mistaken. Right? There’s still a storyline put in it. That’s why you have producers.”
When are Lauren and Nate getting married?
The couple revealed they still plan to get married and one day have a kid. Lauren posted a picture of them holding hands on Instagram. She revealed in the caption when they’ll get hitched.“
In October, we went on a road trip through Colorado to find a wedding venue. We love the outdoors and have always wanted a mountain wedding. We landed on our perfect venue and will be getting married on October 1st, 2022,” read part of the caption.
