All season long, The View is celebrating 25 years of being on the air. The iconic daytime talk show created by Barbara Walters hit the milestone this year and fans are now able to enjoy a new theme song. Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro walk out to set with a song called “For My Girls” that is star-studded.

Although the theme song had been playing in the background since the beginning of the season, it was until September 30 that the show made it official. Goldberg made the announcement at the top of the hour saying that Nicole Scherzinger was joining Brandy Norwood in the vocals of the new theme song called “For My Girls.”

Legend Diane Warren is the one responsible for creating this theme song. Warren is no stranger to The View as she also created the previous song that debuted with season 20 of the show. “World’s Gone Crazy” by Mary J. Blige was the official song for the ABC talk show for numerous seasons.

ABC confirmed in a press release that Hollywood Records would be releasing the track of “For My Girls” on all digital platforms.

Guest co-host scheduled for ‘The View’ Season 25

The View is down one regular panelist since Meghan McCain’s departure. However, Behar doesn’t mind only having four co-hosts at the table and it’s actually something she welcomes as it’s a throwback to the show’s origins.

“We were four at the time and then it became five,” Behar said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “It’s much more fun to have fewer people, I think because you can talk more… We can say more to each other. It became — I can’t get a word in here. I don’t love that, but we learned how to do that now.”

Behar also said that she likes doing the show in person as it was more dynamic than doing it remotely. The comedian didn’t like that there couldn’t be a lot of cross-talking and they each had to wait until they ended their “speech” to debate topics.

The show will be inviting guest co-hosts throughout the season that still includes S.E. Cupp, Eboni K. Williams, Mary Katharine Ham, Alyssa Farah, Cameran Eubanks, and Gretchen Carlson.

ABC airs The View weekday mornings at 10 a.m. ET and 11 a.m. CT/PT.
